i love a good pumpkin beer in the fall and this is by far the best i’ve ever had and it’s from right here in alberta! what could be better than combining pumpkin pie and beer into one foody beverage! jimbojames88 (5) - Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA - JUN 30, 2012 does not count
good pumpkin beer, nice spices and pumpkin taste to it, good spice aroma, great on a mild fall day BrewGoblin (632) - Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, CANADA - OCT 21, 2014
A wonderful but strange beast this is! T’was exactly as a Pumpkin Ale should appear in my opinion, ruddy copper with a thick off-white head. The aroma however, blech! Light spices, carrots, brown bread and....SOAP! But then, redemption. Perhaps the finest, true-to-taste Halloween quaff to date for me. Very spicy, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, licorice with extremely real tasting pumpkin pie qualities. Enjoyably sweet yet not lip-puckering, it is mid carbonated, a tad chewy and leaves a perfect pumpkin pie aftertaste that lasts and lasts. Scubaguy (230) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 8, 2010
The flavor has some good malt, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg. There is nothing that is really overpowering. It feels balanced.
The aroma steals the shows in this one. There is good cinnamon and nutmeg and a touch of pumpkin. It’s just smells great. The warmer it get’s the better the aroma is.
Pours a deep copper color with a nice off white head that quickly disappears to a thin ring.
It finishes with some good lingering spices. I have to say that I am not a fan of pumpkin pie. But i am constantly reaching for another one of these. I think they did a great job with this one. garth_86 (225) - EDMONTON, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 15, 2012

Deep orange pour with a white head. Aroma is big on cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin, and spices. Tastes the same, a smooth drinking autumn beer from a great local brewer. You can’t go wrong with Alley Kat! Gorbalev (3000) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2009
Bottle, courtesy of Jimmay (thanks!). Dark orange with lots of brown, small still white head. Great aroma, Pumpkin pie mixed with caramel. Yum. Taste follows exactly - very sweet and very spicy and very very tasty. A tan thin I suppose. Really liked this one, certainly in the upper end of pumpkin ales I have ever tried. This is a seasonal favorite of mine - the missus and I look forward to it every October. Aroma is fantastic - nutmeg, clove, pumpkin - smells like fresh pumpkin pie. Tends to be a bit hazy or cloudy in the glass, reasonable head and average lacing. I agree with what someone else said - definitely best at the start of its limited brewing season, as the taste and palate of this delicious beer starts to get a bit bland and gritty as you get farther from Halloween. I’ve encountered occasional sediment at the bottom, but usually in those older batches and not the fresh stuff. Ferris (15235) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 23, 2012
Draft - Pumpkin, nutmeg, clove, all the right players in balance. Clear amber with minimal head. Spice is held in check, unlike many others, allowing the pumpkin to shine. One of my favorites from this brewery. rederic (3337) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 24, 2013
650ml bottle bought at the brewery, dark amber-orange color, with a beige head, nice spicy nose of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, allspice, with some pumpkin pie crust, pumpkin, bready, biscuity, toasted, caramel malt notes, with some cinnamon oat, faint spiced granola bar accents in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a very nice spicy pumpkin pie character, with a good cinnamon, nutmeg, clove spiciness, bready, biscuity, toasted, caramel malt, toffee, oatmeal cereal flavour, with pumpkin pie crust, caramelized pumpkin flesh backbone, leading towards a spicy pumpkin pie, lingering biscuity, bread, toasted, caramel maltiness finish. A not overpowering pumpkin ale, that was nice!
