Orange color. Aromas of noble hops and bit of malt. Starts a bit sweet and malty, finishes with a hoppy kick. Not too familiar with the style, but from what I’ve read, this should have less hops. Seems more like what I’d call a pilsner. Either way, it was easy drinking, refreshing. Not too bad.

bottle @ supermarket (budapest) golden colour, normal body, semi carbonated, easy to drink, typically malty-centered lager-beer lightness, but a bit spicy

(bottle, danke stephan!) deep golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of caramelized malts and green apple, with a touch of worcester sauce and some earth. flavour is mostly the same, grainy pale malts, green apple and maggi, slightly starchy, with a light hint of nettles in the light-bitter finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

[backlog] 05-02-16 / 500ml swingtop bottle at Haddocks, Mainz. Nice and smooth. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 3.75/5

50 cl swing top bottle. Pale golden color, big stable white head, persistent. Light malts, grass and leaves, light metallic, bittering hops. Seems to be a pilsener. Taste slight bitter. Light body, average carbonation, dry finish, weak.

Közepes, gyorsan eltűnő hab, tiszta, borostyán szín. Piskótára emlékeztető, nem túl intenzív illat. Ízében a malátát és a komlót kiegyensúlyozottan érezni, egyik sem nyomja el a másikat, a háttérben pedig ott a jellegzetes lágeres aroma. Utóíze enyhe, gyorsan eltűnő kesernye és valamivel tovább maradó maláta. Közepesen testes sör

Aroma of lemony hops and yeast. Great mouthfeel, like a soft caramel. Citrus overtones, and a good bitter hoppy kicker at the end. Not as soft or interesting as some other Bayern Helles beers (it’s too bitter) but interesting and almost like a Helles / Pils hybrid. And at 4.7% it’s a good session beer.

Bottle shared at St Judes Tavern, Ipswich. Pours a clear pale gold with an average sized white head. Aroma of hops, grain, quite yeasty. Medium bitterness and sweetness with a bitter finish.
