0,5 l Bügelflasche. Aroma: malzig, brotig, würzig, fast wie ein Bock. Erscheinung: bernsteinfarbenes Bier, daumenbreiter, weißer, recht stabiler Schaum, gute Gardine. Geschmack: malzig süß, würzig, leicht säuerlich, leichte Bitterkeit. Nachgeschmack: etwas zu flach, leicht pelzige, sich zusammen ziehende Zunge. Gesamt: eigentlich ein gutes Bier, könnte aber gerade bei dem leicht erhöhten Alkoholgehalt noch voller im Geschmack sein.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Clear, dark gold. Decent, lasting, just off white head. Nose has light toffee malts. Some old hop. Taste is fairly sweet. Flabby mouthfeel. Sweet, somehow oily finish. Not great.
