From a bottle purchased at Edelweiss in Portland, OR--From a bottle poured a hazy golden hue with a big white head. Nose of sharp cloves, banana and tangy yeast and wheat. Not as lemony as many Bavarian hefes of past. Dry, wheaten flavor and finish. Mildly acidic and overall quite nice. I like my hefes to taste like this. Very nice. obguthr (6366) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - NOV 4, 2007
Banana aroma with some delicious chocolate notes. Dingy golden with a thick cream colored head. Indeterminate sour flavor, with slight banana notes, medium body. Delightful cilantro finish with traces of caramel. A moderately hopped hefe. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 17, 2007
(50cl bottle) Medium white head atop hazy straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, bubblegum, some banana, clove. Taste is medium sweet, banana, lemon. Watery light-medium body, low carbonation, light acidity. ganache (5906) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 17, 2007
Bottle. Heavy wheaty aroma with some yeast and lesser notes of lemon. Golden body with a huge fluffy white lacing rocky head. Great malty taste, wheat with a spritz of citrus, though slightly muddled. Lightly tart. Medium-light body, dries out slightly to a wheaten aftertaste, with tangy cloves just barely making their entrance at the end. A good, well-made Hefe, but didn’t excite me. guzzler67 (1696) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - JUL 20, 2007
Clouded orange appearance with a small white head and modest lacing. Yeasty aroma, spicy, with mild fruityness. Tart taste, wheaty, some citrus; subdued hoppiness. Dry, slightly sour, lingering finish.

Bottle sampled. Pours a hazy yellow with a nice white head. Aromaof sweet malt wheat yeast and notes of banana. Flavor is light citrus, bready, banana and some spiciness. Finishes dry and crisp. Braudog (6717) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUN 20, 2007
500ml bottle; poured a welcoming hazy golden color with a gigantic pock-marked solid, white helmet. The aroma is tart, super sweettart. This drinks quite sweet, but not as sugary as the aroma. This doesn’t have a lot of the yeasty, fruitiness of so many classic weizens. Bit bubblegummy, mostly fruit salad-like. (#2985, 6/20/2007) 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 5, 2007
Bottle: Super dark brown, moderate foamy beige head, sparce lacing.   After a while it almost looks still.   Roasty nose,
earthen, slight Bourbon and oak, maybe even a little ash and/or campfire.   Somewhat sweet on the tongue, mellow roastiness, low hop
profile, soft Bourbon, fleeting hints of vanilla and oak.   Seems to become more chalky/dry as time goes on.   Very mild porter.
Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Lingering cocoa on the finish.   Not a big Porter at all, and the Bourbon aspect is very
minor as well, probably for the better.   Not as juicy as I thought it would be, but still enjoyable. imdownthepub (14556) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 22, 2007
Bottled, 500ml, at The Bayerischer Hof, Kempten, Bayern. Hazed pale gold with white head. Clean cut Hefeweizen, understated on the spicy notes but slightly hoppier than most. A little bitter and a crisp malt. Reasonable without being exciting. Quinten (1062) - zaandam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 6, 2006
yello-misty color, medium foamy lasting head, fresh fruity, with some basic yeast a fine noiting special one.
