COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For this special release, we set out with the goal of making a beer where every ingredient and process contributed to one ambition: creating layers of apricot flavor. The natural flavors of the brett yeast create tropical and stone fruit flavors in the barrel, which we matched with a small mountain of San Joaquin Valley apricots and finish with a delicate dry hop of aromatic hops. The result is every aspect of the beer, from the yeast, to the fruit to the hops add apricot flavor and aroma – resulting in a delicious wild ale.

PowY (1338) - AUSTRIA - JAN 29, 2018
375 ml bottle, bottled 21.4.2017, at Sander's place. Pours a hazy yellow with a quickly disappearing white head. The aroma is very fruity - pear, apricot and surprisingly passion fruit, tropical notes - with light sour, citric notes in the background along with some hoppy fruitiness. Medium body with a soft carbonation, a light bitterness and a light sourness. The flavor is similar to the smell, again very fruity with tropical fruits, passion fruits, pineapple, apricot, light citric notes and mild funk. Finishes with dry with some wood. Overall good but also slightly confusing owing to the strong tropical character of the fruits.

Very interesting. Very hoppy, but also lots of juicy apricot, with the Brett in the background. Drinks very fresh and crisp. Lovely mix of sour fruit ale and hoppy ale.
