12floz can, unknown freshness, bought as part of a mix-six for $9. This beer is off from the get go. Cloudy yellow with a rocky head, and a vegetable oil aroma. Taste has an odd aftertaste that may or not be due to an infection, it kinda reminds me of off-flavors often found in many homebrews I’ve had.I guess it tastes like metallic, lemon-pepper. It’s fairly light and can go down, so I can attest it is drinkable. I like some American hopped pilsners, but the ones with citra fail me.

Light straw color with a tall, bubbly, off-white head and nice lace. Herbal hops dominate the aromas. Dirty grain flavors. A mix of dirty, sweet oak and dry herbs. Just not getting the vibe behind this one.

Can from Half Time. Clear yellowish pour, lasting sheet of white head and some solid lacework. Nice grassy and citrus aroma. Cracker and a little dough. Bit of melon. Clean, light, crisp, and dry. Quite nice mouthfeel. Really drinkable beer.

From can. Hoppy lager with lots of fruity citrus. Crisp, smooth, nice pilsner malt foundation.

Pours a clear pale yellow with a small white sheet of foam on top that leaves good lacing. Nose is of pale cereals and peppery hops. Taste is fruity and dry with some good cereals. Low to moderate bitterness. Body and carbonation were average and mouthfeel was pretty lean and easy drinking. Another nice craft pilsener, if only all were like that!

KeefOz (1916) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - FEB 16, 2017
poured a hazy pale golden yellow with a big three-finger bright white dense foamy head that retained very well and laced very well leaving lots of suds. Carbonation moderate to high, average and fine to medium. Aroma of citrus (sweet orange, grapefruit, lemon), malt and hints of pine; nice and pleasant. Taste of moderately sweet citrus with possible hints of spice; low to moderate bitterness but a lot more bitter than ’standard’ pilsners; not as strong or as nice as aroma. Light body. Crisp, smooth and clean with a low spicy bitterness on a short finish. Nice, very pale ale-like. Only if more pilsners were like this ...

can. pours almost clear bright gold with a nice white cap offering some retention and lacing. pilsner maltiness, white grapes as well, very herbal and grassy, citrus, faint tropical notes, salt, other minerals, über clean yeast action. moderate carbonation, light body - oily; assertive and balanced herbal-grassy finish. modern and authentic at the same time. high drinkability - solid stuff.

Can at home. It pours a yellow gold color with a small white head. The aroma is bready and soft with light melon and orange notes. The flavor is citric with hints of orange and plastic. Strong earthy bitterness with some melon rind in the finish. The light plastic notes threw this one off for me.
