COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’re proud to partner with the Fairmont Hotel of San Francisco to create an exclusive offering available only onsite at the historic Fairmont of San Francisco. This Belgian-inspired ale is designed to highlight the rooftop honey from the Fairmont, and pair with the seasonal food of their Laurel Court Restaurant. We start with a classic blend of two-row barley and wheat providing sweetness, body and light toast flavors. Then we balance the beer with classic noble hops for a balanced bitterness and spicy aroma. Finally the honey is added at the very end of the brewing process, infusing all of its delicate aromas and flavors into the beer. The beer is then fermented with our house Saison yeast strain, lending it an earthy flavor and dry finish.

Note: This is a different beer than Almanac’s regular Honey Saison, and only available at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco.

Enjoyed a glass on tap at the beautiful Fairmont Hotel. Reviewed from notes written on a cocktail napkin. A- Pours a deep orangey tangerine hue with a small, frothy, off white head that leaves foamy lacing as it goes down. S- Honey, Belgian yeast, apricot, green apple T- Honey, belgian yeast, apricot, peach, banana, light grassy notes, clean finish. M- Medium bodied with ample carbonation. D- Extremely drinkable, delicious, saison that has lots of complexity while still being well rounded and having a clean, appealing finish that leads you to take sip after sip. Well done.

Fairmont Hotel honey saison is made locally by Almanac Brewing with honey harvested from the roof top of the hotel, which is pretty cool. Strong and apropos honey notes in aroma and flavor. Lightly carbonated and unfiltered. A very nice slightly sweet saison flavor with just a hint of spice at the backend. Quite good, very fresh, and recommended!
