mild tart and sour, some fruit. not overpowering like some of the more obnoxious sours. very tasty and drinkable. not the biggest sour fan but enjoyed this one. One of the best sours I’ve tried. DYCSoccer17 (3708) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 24, 2013
Bottle purchased at Nugget in Woodland, CA. The aroma on this has a lightly tart, sour character. There is some cheesiness, here, too. Later on, there is a bit of a floral bouquet. Imagine a stinky cheesemonger hawking his wares in a funeral parlor, where the mortician accidentally spilled some embalming fluid. Mildly hazy dark golden-orange body with a medium, strong, white head that leaves great lacing. Starts with some mild to moderate tartness, which isn’t obnoxious at all. A little vinous. Light cheesy funk comes through in the middle. Finishes with a slight citric lemon accidity. Good mouthfeel. Good stuff. Thorpe429 (5122) - , Illinois, USA - APR 22, 2013
Thanks, Chris! Really nice tartness to the background. Good grape and light oak. Very light body. Plum quite faint. Mild tannin. jredmond (8644) - New York, New York, USA - APR 20, 2013
Bottle courtesy of Adam (burg). Thanks man. Pours a hazy murky orange creme body with light fizzy white lacing. Aroma at first seems fecal, but then turns straight to 5 year aged Gouda - super cheesy. Mouthfeel is medium to light with notes of tart fruit, cheese, light sour funk. On tap at Taps in Petaluma. Strong aroma of blue cheese. A lot of tartness that smooths a little as it has time to breathe.

3/15/13 notes: Almanac Farm to Barrel Farmer’s Reserve: Nose is beautiful brett, cherry, mulberry, really clean acidity, elegant clear orange with a white head. Flavor is lemon, bretty must, orange peel, back end vanilla and black cherry. Touch of apple cider vinegar in finish, dry. This is a winner, beyond the maturity of most American sours. A great accomplishment. anders37 (27047) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAR 28, 2013

Bottle at home with my wife courtesy of Felipe. Big thanks for this one man! Pour is hazy, bright orange with a small white head that quickly dissipated and great lacing. Big funky aroma - cheesy, waxy, cat urine - lemon peel, lactic acid, a hint of vanilla, wood, and grapefruit juice. Taste is funky, basement, lemon zest, pears, green apples, white wine, oak, somewhat musty, a hint of cinnamon, and cranberries with a big sour finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Very gueuze-like and acetic, although, not overly sour. Nice beer. bb (9789) - Alamo, California, USA - MAR 12, 2013
