Pours amber with a thin white head. Sour/acidic, grapes, plum, oak, a little sweet at the finish. Not as intensely sour as some other sours which makes it very drinkable.

375 mL bottle poured. Thanks to Tim for the bottle. Celebrating the beginning of baseball with this beer, which in my opinion, began a string of a sour revolution for these guys. Pours a cloudy darker orange color with a thin fizz head. Aroma is big sour red grapes, as well as a sour plum like. Flavor is intense sour grape and berry fruit. Very funky. High acidic. Bottle. Pours hazy golden amber with a small off-white head that dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is tart, cherry, lemon, fruit, touch of hay. Flavor is the same, with a bit of red wine. Light sweet and light plus tartness leading to a dry finish. Just a bit of woody astringence from the barrel treatment. Medium body, champagne-like mouthfeel. Quite the nice beer. UPDATED: APR 3, 2014 A - pours nice rich unfiltered apple juice with low fine bubbled straw head with nice retention and great lacing. S - nice grapey and saison aromas. Subtle funk, saison yeasts, honey, muscat and simple white grapes, oak tannins, light fresh grass, sweet. M - light medium body,quiet bitter notes, sweet palate, lighting flavorful funky end. Amazing. Round and crisp. Fresh. Very drinkable, complex and subtle. T - tast follows the nose. Light subtle sweet muscat grapes and light sweet cab notes up front. Saison yeasts, light sweet dry grasses, barnyard funk on the palate. Hints of the oak, the wine barrels. Lingering light funk, sweet wine and over ripe grapes. O - amazing and subtle, sour, sweet, funky, dry.

Bottle via trade. Poured a tea brown body under a smaller mostly white head. Aroma was tart and loaded with sour acidity, grapes, white wine, funk, medium bodied with average carbonation and a long lingering sour sour finish. 375ml bottle pours a clear orange with some cloudy, white head. Nose is cool, lots of fruit, peaches, strawberries, grapes, passion fruit, lightly floral, some fruit roll up. Flavor is tart with a little lemony acid, peach, nectarine, some golden raisin, light candy, currant, some Eastern European white wine. Lightly tart finish but also dry on the finish. On draft at the 2013 SF beer week opening celebration. It pours a pale yellow/orange with an off white head. The aroma is grapefruit sour, mild musty hay funk. Peachy with hint of white vinegar. The flavor is clean grapefruit sour with hints of pepper and white vinegar. A little hay, but mostly clean grapefruit, sour tart goodness. Capped 375 from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours very hazy orange with traces of a white head. Aroma is sour mixed fruits. Quite sour! Med body. Mildly fizzy carb. Flavor is sour and vinous. Also non-dark pitted fruit. Could be peach or plum. This is quite sour, but not so sour it destroys the mouth. Finishes like grapes and unripe plum skins. Some oak astringent is discernible at the very end. Quite tasty.
