Bottle. Pour is bright gold/orange with a white head. Short retention/some lace. Aroma of lemon peel, citrus, funk, dust, white wine. Taste is very tart, lemon juice, citrus, white wine, lactic. Palate is dry, average carbonation, sharp tart finish. Refreshing and interesting. coreyc1221 (319) - Truckee, California, USA - JUN 25, 2013
Sour and yeasty aroma. Beutiful golden cloudy color. Looks like candy in a glass. Tastes like a warhead! Slapped in the face with sour. Really good but a bit sour for my liking. brokensail (16444) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 24, 2013
Golden colored pour with a white head. Really intense lemon aroma. A bit herbal, too. Some orange, grass, and oak. Candied lemon flavor, some limoncello, and herbs--maybe thyme? Oak, some grass, and orange zest. Nicely tart, both on the nose and tongue. baraciisch (3232) - California, USA - JUN 21, 2013
Great blend of citrus notes and acidic tartness... Much more floral than I expected, notes of spices... Delicious sour, very enjoyable

Pours a bright gold with no head. Aroma of citrus, ginger, oak and funk. Taste is tart and bitter citrus, ginger is present even though I don’t think it’s in the beer. This is really good, better than mimosa as that is the only other citrus sour I have had.

Bottle shared by adnielsen, thanks bro. Lots of citrus on this, really a cool aroma actually. Never had so much citrus in a sour before. Flavor is sour but not overpowering, really easy to drink. Bacterial (2999) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Wow what a nice surprise! Orange citrus in the nose. Light, crisp, still sour and pleasant. Beautiful. blklab2007 (2120) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 15, 2013
Bottle poured a golden color with a ring of white head that fell away. Aroma has golden lemonade, herby orange, light yeasty funk, faint wine barrel, and a light hit of acid. Mouth feel is light and there is medium high carbonation. Flavor brings on the lemon, more citrus acidity than sour, light herbs drift in and out, and there is a bit of sweetness that seems to come from the orange side of this. Initially it smacks you a bit and there is very little wood from the barrels though I do get a snap of dry grapes. I love the fact you get such a fresh punch from the ingredients used. I have smelled the Buddha’s hand citron before (my only reference) and am pretty sure that is what gives this it’s distinct edge. bytemesis (8357) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Bottle. Pours hazy golden amber with a shall off white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is tart lemon, funk, barnyard. Flavor about the same, fruity, citric, light tartness, quite dry. Medium body, bubbly carbonation. Very nice. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUN 13, 2013
Bottle. Pours with a clear bright yellow hue with a large and fluffy white head with good retention and decent lace. Aromas are of funky, musty and waxy brett, mild oak, delicate wine and lactone, floral and perfumey citrus, mildly sweet fruit character. Saw dust like wood character. Some juicy esters. Vanilla and a lot of tannin. Flavors are tart, mildly bitter, juicy, estery. Lots of oak and a ton of citrus peel. Lactone, saw dust, tannin and vanilla. Suntan lotion, citrus zest, mild mandarin, a touch of tamarind. Pretty dry, but with a fruity perceived sweetness. Nicely refreshing zest character. Very lively bubbles, lightly tannic, low body, dry. Very refreshing and drinkable. Quite tasty.
