Poured from a 375ml bottle, thanks to Zane. The aroma is big citrus, dusty, hints of melons. The flavor is lemon, citrus, rosemary, malty. A very tasty beer. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - SEP 7, 2013
375 bottle-thanks matsciguy/Levi @RBSG-Minni-thin white-yellow/gold. A-tart lemon, 2nd wheat/lt malt, some acetic. T-follows. Crisp. jlruthven (612) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 31, 2013
Bottle from joeneugs, thanks Joe! Pours cloudy, shimmering yellow with a billowing, merengue-like head. Sharp and acetic nose at first, then just burst with fresh lemons and citron. Not getting much orange off of the nose, but it sneaks in a bit on the mouthfeel. Tangy, lemony palate. Not too astringent on the finish, which is nice. A little milder, and this would be a real thirst-quencher. jackl (8071) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 17, 2013
Bottle split @ CBC Clerkenwell. Cheer to Aaron from BA ! The pour’s gold with a small head. The nose is lemon citrus, herbs, yeasty funk. The taste is strongly tart, acetic. More subtly notes of honeyed lemon. Rough herbal tang. Quite boozy considering the modest ABV. Overall, decent, but not up to the standard of the other Almanac sours we tried. wchesser (2076) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 5, 2013
UPDATED: JUN 16, 2015 From trade with raiders707. Thanks man! Citrus and lacto on nose with something else i wanted to call ginger but really couldn’t place...maybe the buddha? cloudy yellow very similar appearance to #3. Tart with gobs of citrus but never overwhelming and round enough body and perceived sweetness to pull it together. Preferred over #3 on the night in side by side but really a push.. Great with some cedar plank king salmon.
>>rerate: leaving numbers though this has definitely diminished especially the nose. The non-Farmers Citrus just doesnt match up to this.

Bottle - Sour white grape, grass, lemon and other citrus. Pale clear gold with bubbly small head. Very tart, white grape that finishes with lemon citrus. Very light and effervescent. A perfect summer beer. Leighton (21258) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 5, 2013
Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Big thanks to Aaron. Pours hazy gold with a light, creamy head. Big herbal aroma, some dough. Tangy flavor, thyme. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Herby and tangy finish, some lemony citrus. Quite unique and very tasty. popway (212) - California, USA - AUG 4, 2013
mild citrus, bread, yeast, I really enjoy this combination during the summer months. White lacing & clouds, carbonation, gold appearance, refreshing, lovely borderline sour. I prefered this one to #3. arminjewell (9675) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - AUG 3, 2013
Pour out of 375 mL bottle, thanks Aaron! Hazy yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of lots of lemon, hand of buddha and spice slightly overwhelm the palate, hints of oak, touch of orange but not much. Taste is a mix of lemon, more lemon, lots of spice with hand of buddha, some slight coriander, finishing with some oak, spice, slight white fruits, wine grape as well. Tasty, but different for sure from the others. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - AUG 3, 2013
Bottle @ home, via trade with bytemesis. Thanks Mike! Also thanks to Levi for cracking a bottle @ MPLS LOL. Pours a hazy yellow orange appearance with a white head. Big lemon, tangerine, passionfruity aroma and the Buddha’s hand comes through quite nicely. Quite spicy / lots of Buddha’s Hand, tart lemon, orange citrusy, almost cinnamon-like flavor that finishes pretty tart. I think I got a lot more lemons when I tasted this with Levi. Very nice beer.
