Craft Clerkenwell tasting. Thanks to Aaron. Light haze on this gold beer, little pale cream coloured head. Light dry crisp palate. Lovely lemon, tart but never acidic. Finishes with a touch of herb and sherbet. Light dry lemony finish. Nice.
Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Big thanks to Aaron. Pours hazy gold with a light, creamy head. Big herbal aroma, some dough. Tangy flavor, thyme. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Herby and tangy finish, some lemony citrus. Quite unique and very tasty. Bottle split at Craft Clerko Tasting, thanks to Aaron, 08/07/13.
Hazed golden with a thin off white head.
Nose carries herbal tones, spice, bitter fruits, bitter orange, light sour tones, menthol.
Taste comprises orange pith, farmy, grass, lemon rind, spice, hint of liqourice.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitter tarte notes in the finish.
Sour light. Ok stuff but I’d prefer a little more puckering/tarteness. mcberko (17815) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 8, 2015
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2015 375mL bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks a lot, Dany), pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Nose is dominated by loads of citrus fruits, lemons especially and a touch of orange, with oak and maybe a subtle hint of white wine. Very complex, hugely citric but in a good way and only too drinkable. Excellent stuff.

Pretty sure this is the one I had. Hazy light tan. Fresh, lemony, vinous...really interesting nose. Tastes lemony, a bit footy yeast, and a hint of lemon. The taste isn’t as clean as the nose, but there’s a nice tartness late that aims ambitious. jtclockwork (16581) - , New Jersey, USA - JUN 12, 2013
Bottle shared by Joey. Thank you. Pours lemon gold. Nose and taste of lemon, fresh orange, wine barrel and ginger. Medium body. Moderate tartness. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 24, 2013
Golden colored pour with a white head. Really intense lemon aroma. A bit herbal, too. Some orange, grass, and oak. Candied lemon flavor, some limoncello, and herbs--maybe thyme? Oak, some grass, and orange zest. Nicely tart, both on the nose and tongue. Ferris (15265) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 5, 2013
Bottle - Sour white grape, grass, lemon and other citrus. Pale clear gold with bubbly small head. Very tart, white grape that finishes with lemon citrus. Very light and effervescent. A perfect summer beer. bhensonb (15189) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 3, 2013
Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy/dirty gold with a slight white head. Aroma is earthy, funky citrus. Sour even. Med body. Flavor pretty much the aroma. At first the mouth is torn asunder, but as fatigue ensues it simply becomes a "smooth" tart/sour earthy/funky citrusy wonderful ale. Not getting much oak, but that’s cool.
