COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Farmer’s Reserve Grand Cru is an ode to our favorite aromatic white wines. We combined California-grown Muscat Blanc grapes with an imperial version of our Farmer’s Reserve sour blonde base and aged them for over a year in French oak barrels.

The result is a deeply fragrant hybrid that captures the Northern California terroir and seamlessly melds the complex tartness of a Belgian-inspired sour ale with the sun-ripened boldness of white wine grapes. Serve this very limited release alongside fresh, raw oysters and pair with celebratory toasts.

Keg at BD Aberdeen. 10.2%. It pours light hazy yellow - gold with a small white head. The aroma is white grape, gooseberry, granny smith apple, musty, vanilla, funk, wood and marshmallow. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, gooseberry, white wine, wood, hint of vanilla, floral, funky, hit of lactic acid, lemon peel, sherbet, hay, vinho verde and a touch of alcohol warmth. Finish is crisp and dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Plenty going on. Great white wine character. Really rather good.

maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - APR 4, 2017
Bottle from Mane shared on the Tues blowout. A very hazy light yellow pour with a firm white head. Nose is like a sour sauv blanc with loads of lemon peel and nectarine. Comes through in the taste with heavy focus on fresh lemon and lime with complimenting stone fruits. Think nectarine, peach and apricot. Very dry on the finish but such a juicy sour. Very tasty stuff

Anova167 (386) - Manhattan Beach, California, USA - SEP 2, 2016
Pale cloudy yellow with a soapy quickly dissipating head. Big aroma of oak, lemon, peach, and grape with a bit of alcohol. Extremely tart flavor of lemon and crisp white wine. Not going to find a winier beer than this. No alcohol heat at all and finishes bone dry. Nice coating mouth feel. Really really good beer!

DuffMan (10728) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 13, 2016
Bottle. Hazy medium gold, lively white head. Lemony tart/sour with a pronounced vinous quality and moderate funky character. Warming finish bordering on boozy. Not as well integrated as the Beersalis, but still very enjoyable.
