Keg at BD Aberdeen. 10.2%. It pours light hazy yellow - gold with a small white head. The aroma is white grape, gooseberry, granny smith apple, musty, vanilla, funk, wood and marshmallow. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, gooseberry, white wine, wood, hint of vanilla, floral, funky, hit of lactic acid, lemon peel, sherbet, hay, vinho verde and a touch of alcohol warmth. Finish is crisp and dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Plenty going on. Great white wine character. Really rather good. brokensail (16695) - Dublin, California, USA - JAN 27, 2016
Bottle @ Thanksgiving. Hazed pale straw colored beer with white foam. Has a bit of alcohol to it right away that I don’t really care for, but otherwise I enjoyed it...very white wine/champagne like. Tart green grape, unripe melon, berries, and some citrus peel. Hints of stone fruit add a subtle sweetness, but mostly more fruit driven acidity. Maybe becomes a little bit much as it warms, but good anyway. bhensonb (16381) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 12, 2015
Capped 750 from the CostCo in Woodland, CA. Pours translucent gold with a transient white head. Aroma of funk and grapes. Like big white grapes with seeds. It is rather tart, not really sour, and it still reminds me of big white table grapes - like the nice part next to the seeds. The tart makes me think a bit of unsweet orange juice. Some oak astringency too. This is well done. Not noticing any heat. Just excellent. DSG (15759) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 12, 2016
[1/28/16] Draught at Almanac & Friends Sourfest at MaSo at Park Central Hotel in San Francisco. Hazy golden. Great wine grapes aroma with funk, oak, wine. Sour flavor with fresh fruits (lots of grapes), funk, oak, wine. Medium-bodied. Really good. BeerandBlues2 (14580) - Escondido, California, USA - MAR 5, 2016
Bottle at home. Pours clear gold with a medium, fizzy white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is Chardonnay, muscat grapes, oak, medium cracker malt, and light sulfur. Flavor is light sulfur Chardonnay, muscat grapes, oak, medium cracker malt and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. This is nearly a carbonated Chardonnay.

Grapes and wine in a pleasant way, but still a little more than I’d like. Acidic and lightly sweet, with lemony sour and a lactic quality. Good, but a one timer for that much coin. hopdog (13606) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 1, 2016
750ml bottle. Hazy golden with a white head. Vinous, grapes, funky, tart, citrus, and some fruitiness. Alcohol content well hidden. marcus (11150) - Sacramento, California, USA - NOV 10, 2015
Bottle from Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours cloudy blonde with an attractive off-white head and a funky fruit aroma. There is a puckeringly sour white wine and grape flavor with a dry oak finish. daknole (11050) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - DEC 6, 2015
Cloudy gold pour, white head. Nice and sour, big bold flavors of wine grapes, lemons, tart funk, nice acidity. Great! DuffMan (10983) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 13, 2016
Bottle. Hazy medium gold, lively white head. Lemony tart/sour with a pronounced vinous quality and moderate funky character. Warming finish bordering on boozy. Not as well integrated as the Beersalis, but still very enjoyable.
