COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is there any pairing more perfect than sour beer and stone fruit? We start with the very best fruit: yellow nectarines grown in the bright Central California sun at Blossom Bluff Orchards, along the banks of the King’s River.

Picked at peak ripeness, we add the nectarines to a sour base beer, combining the funky flavors of brett with a bright acidity to highlight the fruit. The result is something special: golden hued beer with fruit aromatics jumping off the glass, the last of summer captured in a bottle.

375ml bottle pours semi clear pale orange with small bubbly foam. Nose and taste are a stonefruit and citrus bomb, medium high acidity makes up for low carb levels, lots of juicy fruit throughout with some juice sweetness and a backing finish of slightly farmy grain. Subtle funk plays off the fuzzy fruit. Overall what you want out of a nectarine sour.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2017 bottle at home. Has no head and is very sour. not too dissimilar to a Gueuze style of beer. I couldn't taste the nectarines in the beer. It pours a hazy orange

Bottle, many thanks to Thomas Schneider! Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is fresh nectarine, yoghurt, heavy barrel funk, quite tart, a bit farty. Taste is heavily sour, nectarine skin, wood, tannic. Medium carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Very nice, but also very sour, as many of their Farmer's Reserves.
