This is an awesome barleywine. I don't usually care for beer with pumpkin but as a barleywine lover, this is a big exception. Gotta try to get a couple more of these.

Amazing brew, nice and sweet malty boozy barleywine, one of the best pumpkin beers ive had for sure, howeverbslight deduction for not aging well, saved two bottles for a year and recently opened one and it was infected. Still a lovely beer fresh, get this years!!! bytemesis (8792) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - AUG 9, 2013
Bottle. Pours clear red amber, medium creamy tan head, nice lacing. Aroma is pumpkin, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, some toffee, brandy. Nice. Flavor is like Thanksgiving, punkin and spices, medium sweet, light light bitter. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. A bit hot perhaps, but otherwise perfect. merc7186 (3142) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - OCT 14, 2013
A: Brownish/Orange Hue, Passes Mild Light, Off White Head Ring, Decent Lacing
S: Sweet Bread, Yams, Mild Cinnamon, Mild Allspice
T: Pumpkins, Brandy, Cinnamon, Sweet Bread
M: Decent Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Semi Sweet
Overall, this beer is exactly as advertised...if you read the label, you get exactly that, solid. BMMillsy (1788) - Florida, USA - NOV 9, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2013 Bottle at Stone beer garden. Pours a deep clear orange with barely any white head and some nice lacing. Aroma of massive pumpkins, caramel malts, vanilla cream, and some nice cinnamon and nutmeg that is there but not overpowering the aroma. Flavor is sweet up front, big pumpkin flavors, caramel malts, some cinnamon and nutmeg spice on the finish that keeps this from being extremely sweet. I assume the sweetness comes from the brandy barrels. Slick palate but surprisingly light bodied, low to medium carbonation. This is as unique as it gets, and pretty amazing.

375ml from a beer trade.
A- smells sweet, Caramel, pumpkin’y. zero head warm smelling
A- Amber/Red slight haze, but clears up.
T- So complex, Sweet, but pumpkin flavors come through, then the sweetness of the brandy barrel, followed by the spices. so tasty
P-Medium body, slightly creamy. Surprisingly not boozy.
O- Wow, Just wow, great beer. Wish I could get more of these in Florida. By far my favorite pumpkin beers and just a fantastic brewery! Ibrew2or3 (8743) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - NOV 21, 2013
UPDATED: NOV 22, 2013 12.8% bottled Autumn 2013 that is a 37.5cl bottle that is courtesy of GT2. So a barrel aged pumpkin barleywine. Wow, that is ‘out there’ but I’m game. It pours with a hazy rusty amber body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up ripe cherry fruity esters, smooth sweet brandy, blended and blunted cinnamon and brown sugar coated wood. Well off in the back, if I concentrate, there’s snippets of pumpkin meat notes. The taste erupts with a multi facetted flavor attack. I get ripe cherry and prune like sweet fruity esters, fairly smooth sweet brandy booze notes and then cinnamon. Next the brandy gets boozier and a touch harsh but a pleasing mix of pumpkin meat, cinnamon graham cracker and a highly toasted pumpkin pie crust hold this together and take it to new heights. Wow. What the… Smooth notes of cinnamon, brandy and mild pumpkin hang on into the finish and after taste. Very cool experience. This beer begs the question, will there be a non Heirloom Pumpkin version (just regular run-of-the-mill pumpkins)? I just need to get up to the brewery and start bugging people and asking questions until they toss my sorry ass out. Cheers! (dang, the wife likes this too!) Had this at a tasting, reviewed from notes: pours a nice dark orangish-amber color. Pumpkin, sweetness, brandy, nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove on the nose; all follow onto the palate. The spicing really comes through on the finish. Very good pumpkin beer. jjgmd (2212) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - MAY 12, 2014
Pours a dark orange color with a nice cream colored head. Nose is sweet pumpkin with allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Taste is pure straight up pumpkin with the aforementioned spices, just bathes the palate ! Finish is sweet, spicy with a moderately long ending. A premier pumpkin ale ! "Looks pretty...dark amber with ruby highlights. Nose will keep you coming back...understated brandy, spices and natural pumpkin, with some carmelized malts making their presence known as well, especially in the flavor. Smooth medium to full bodied palate and a wonderful flavor (nothing is over or underdone) that lingers. Probably the best I’ve had from them, and a top tier pumpkin beer."
