COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Passion Project is our latest experiment: a combination of exotic ingredients and processes to create something crazy delicious and original. In addition to Brettanomyces, Saccharomyces, and Lactobacillus, this beer was fermented with Pichia—a yeast rarely found in beer. Carefully controlled, it can unleash intense tropical aromas and flavors. We added ginger, grains of paradise, and passionfruit to this farmhouse ale, aged it in oak barrels with cedar spirals, and dry-hopped it with Citra, Mosaic, and Galaxy hops.

Sample at GABF 10/07/2017, thanks to my bro for assistance with note-taking. Pours a hazy orange-bronze color with a medium bone white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of tart fruit, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of passionfruit, mildly funky yeast, doughy malt and a bit of citrusy hop. The finish is moderately tart with a fruity aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Pours clear golden with a very large frothy white head. Aromas of passion fruit, citrus, gooseberry, oak, farmhouse notes, barrel character, green apples. Taste is a lovely balance between fruit, wood notes and barrel along with farmhouse notes. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation. Very good!!

(375ml bottle from boxbeers.dk) Pours clear pale gold with a huge, loose white head that fades slowly with lots of lace. Aroma is fruity, musky, lightly tart. Notes of passion fruit, citrus, tropical flowers, green grapes, spices, slightly tangy ginger, lots of wood, maybe a touch of the aromatic cedar, leafy hops. Flavour is quite dry with a light tartness, passion fruit, citrus peels and a hint of juice, dried flowers, lightly spiced, quite woody, cedar pops out on the back end along with a little ginger tang. Finish is very dry, fully attenuated, lightly funky, with lots of oak and peppery cedar. Light to medium bodied and a bit slick with high effervescent carbonation. An interesting beer, it's not overtly heavy on the passionfruit and musk comes through as much as sweet fruitiness. That said, the cedar, balanced spicing and mixed-ferm cultures are very complementary. Tasty.

Bottle. Thanks a bunch Guruhso. It pours hazy yellow with a fluffy snow white head. The aroma has loads of passion fruit to it. Citrus and acidic notes. Wood and pineapple. Tropical and juicy with a great acidic kick. The flavour is passion fruit and light acid with sour berries and tropical hops. The cedar and ginger is hardly noticable. This is a truly awesome brew. I am a happy man.

Sampled at GABF 2017 with Paul and Larry. Pours a glowing golden body with thick white lacing. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with muted tart character and soft palate. Flavor profile is a bit underwhelming for a passionfruit-driven sour. Some generic tart fruity flavors.
