Sample at Good Karma in San Jose. Pours a slightly hazed yellow-gold color with a medium bone white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of herbal yeast and fruit. Draft at Toronado with Linh. Pours a lightly hazy yellow golden body with thin white lacing. Aroma is lightly tart wheat, grain and clean floral hop profile. Mouthfeel is dry with the sorachi hops coming through super dry. Wheat, sour lemon and grain.

Draft. Heirloom wheat, huh? Does the ’nac use anything that’s not heirloom? Mostly clear golden-yellow color with loads of lacing. The aroma is rather hoppy with a touch of funk. Grassy, herbal, and mildly citrus. The flavor is dry and somewhat bitter. Lots of Sorachi Ace. Minimal malt character, mainly pilsner. Dry, crisp, and desiccating mouthfeel. Rather light. On tap at the Trappist. It pours a clear light yellow gold with a huge dense white head. The aroma is strong with citrus and light tropical fruity hops. Good spicy yeast. The flavor is pretty much the same. Lots of potent citrus and a decent amount of acidity. Multigrain bready malt backbone and a spicy yeast character. An ok farmhouse. Pours an ugly clear yellow with a bubbly white head. Smells good, citrus, grapefruit, bay leaf and a sour hint. Taste is extremely crisp and dry, lots of grapefruit, with a slightly sour, hoppy finish. Had on tap at the Trappist.
