COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This West Coast IPA features an explosive aroma of citrus, tropical fruit and dankness from a blend of Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, Hallertau Blanc and El Dorado hops. Intensely hoppy without overt bitterness, a light malt backbone balances this IPA, giving it a clean finish and making it a beer to be enjoyed again and again. Inspired by San Francisco but brewed to be enjoyed everywhere. Enjoy with super burritos, hangtown fry, and rich cioppino.

Part of the fresh beer series, brewed and canned in San Francisco.

Can from Half Time. Murky yellowish color, thick and frothy head. Lasting coat of heavy lace on the glass. Fruity and citrusy hop. Grass and herbal notes as well. Some soft of light bready component as well. Incredibly smooth, soft feel. Finishes a little dry. Pretty good.

A very citric beer. A slightly hazy yellow amber with a nice off-white head, plenty of lace. Aroma’s mainly lemony hops, bit of malt. Flavor’s like nose, good bitterness and fairly easy drinking.

Grassy, tropical hop aroma and flavor with a nice malt balance. Almost light malt but full flavored. Easy drinking full flavored IPA. Good mix of grassy and tropical hops. Some dank piney hops in the finish but balanced by slight sweet malt finish. Solid all around easy drinking IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Canary Square, 1/5/17.
Clear, peachy-bronze body topped by an off-white head showing moderate retention.
For all the talk of citra, mosaic, el dorado, I really don’t get all that much juiciness in the nose. Granted, this thing came all the way from San Fran, so who knows how fresh it is. Kind of leafy, lightly dank with more orange rind, biscuit, very light caramel and easygoing apple/peach/apricot. No resin, alcohol or flaw.
In the flavor it’s equally light with a dry, medium-light body and lots of citrus, apricot, apple and nectarine. Some brief interludes of juiciness with light but ample carbonation and a high drinkability. Medium bitterness, clean, no alcohol noted. A bit on the thin/overly dry side with some lightly scratchy grain character.

It pours golden with an off white head. It is a bit cloudy. It has aromas of floral, tropical fruit, a hint of grapefruit, and a hint of citrus. The flavor has a well defined tropical taste. The tropical flavor is also a bit sweet. There are also floral, grapefruit, and citrus flavors. In has a moderate body with moderate bitterness. The tropical fruit last well into the finish. Overall, this is a well hop IPA that focuses on the tropical flavors with the other flavors in the background.

12 oz can pours light yellow with a white head. Fruity hop aroma, very pleasant. You can tell fresh hops are used. Mild to moderate bitterness, a little spicy but not overwhelming. Great ipa!

Pours hazy peach into a Sam glass. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Mango and passionfruit aromas. Dry with dusty yeast and lemon upfront turning to mango and tropical fruit in the sharp, dusty finish.

12oz can. Pours golden with a white head. Lots of grapefruit notes in this one. Pretty decent example of the style though nothing spectacular here.

Can into a glass. Cloudy dull orange light tan. Frothy persistent white head. Thick sticky lacing. Mellow tropical fruit hop aroma and flavors. Moderate bitterness but nice balanced hop flavors. A litel papery at the end. Very drinkable and a solid 6.5% Good beer
