375ml bottle pours cloudy red with no head and some bubbles. Nose and taste have earthy cherry, berry juice, must funk, wet oak, damp basement, vanilla comes in on the tail end of the finish, some drying wood and medium acidity. Medium sweetness. Solid but no carbonation takes it down a peg and leaves it a bit flabby. jnitka (113) - Gdańsk, POLAND - JAN 13, 2018
Aroma of red wine, lemons, cherries, a bit bretty, oak, some leathery notes. Tastes sour at first with citrus tanginess and cherries, then goes to sweet with vanilla and oka and ends with a comeback of sourness from cherries that lingers for a while. Body is a bit watery with some smooth carbonation and acidity felt in the throat. Noform (130) - Tarnowskie Góry, POLAND - JAN 11, 2018
No cóż lekki zawód, mało brettowego charakteru, w zapachu sok w smaku kwaśny sok z lekką dębiną. Wanilia nie wiem może ale tak średnio Fin (11162) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2017
UPDATED: JAN 7, 2018 Bottle picked up from Otters Tears, Online shop, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, consumed at Builth Wells, Powys, Wales in the company of Baz, Jude, Bayley, Dom and Georgia Saturday 30th December 2017 Pours hazy mid amber with a white head.
The nose is reminiscent of Rodenbach, there is wet wood, it's got tart cherry. In the mouth it's similar, tart, fruity, zappy with a wet woodiness. Lovely. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8 oobawa (1918) - Tennessee, USA - DEC 26, 2017
Nice subtly sweet sour ale from Almanac, clever in the way the cherries and vanilla complement the lacto sourness and the woodsy oak finish. Tart lemon, mild wheat, and a strong vinous streak on the back end lead to a yeasty, oaked cab fade. Tasty. Pours pink with a brief white head and no lace. Yeast, lemon, and cherry on the nose. Crisp, sparkly texture is just right. Tasty beer.

Aroma: very nice, complex and tarty, with cherry, bitter cherry stone, sourberries, oak. Taste is nice and tarty as well, with lemon, raspberry, cherry, no perceivable vanilla but who cares? It's great anyway. Like a cherry tart, just a tad sweet and the perfect amount of sour. davidezdonz (641) - Hong Kong, HONG KONG - NOV 1, 2017
A 375ml bottle, released in May 2017. Poured into a Holy Mountain tulip glass. It was a lightly hazy pinkish orange colour with a one finger white head that dissipated quickly and left sparse to no lacing. Aromas were sweet and tart cherry, vanilla, oak and red gummy candy. Tastes very similar to the aroma with sweet and tart cherry, vanilla, oak and a light citrus tang. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, this was really nice and enjoyable. The vanilla and oak mixed really well with the cherries. ogivlado (8420) - Zagreb, CROATIA - OCT 23, 2017
Bottled 375ml. -from Beergium. Golden/amber coloured, minimal white head, tart cherry nose. Tart cherries, distinct vanilla, notes of red wine and light vinager. Notes of wood in rather tart finish. Maaaybe vanilla is a bit too noticable for my taste. JStax (7371) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - OCT 22, 2017
375 ml bottle poured into a brandy snifter. The aroma has juicy cherry acidity. Strong tartness throughout. The cherry character comes through perfectly. Jammy. Medium body and medium to high carbonation.
