COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer pairs two blancs: California-grown Muscat Blanc grapes and German Hallertau Blanc hops. Blended together in wine barrels and large oak foudres, White Label emerges from the casks as a unique hybrid of beer and wine. The combination of white grapes and tropical-aroma hops creates a luscious nose of ripe apricot, lychee and lemongrass. Finished with a touch of coriander, this complex sipper is a perfect pairing for dishes like mussels steamed in coconut curry, fresh pad thai, and macadamia crusted halibut.

Bottle shared by Matt. Thanks again! It pours a lightly hazed yellow color with a small head. The aroma has some grape, peach, white wine and hints of wood. The flavor has clean acidity with some pleasant sweet white grape notes. Not a lot of funk or wood. No off flavors. Full bodied and a bit on the sweet side to be truly world class, but I was digging the balance of sweetness and acidity. Good stuff.

Tap at Brasserie V. Unfiltered yellow-tan body. Foamy white head. Dry white wine notes. Grapey, viney hops. This beer couldnt be much more modern if it tried. Quite excellent, showcases the Hallertau Blanc hops off well. Really good. Great depth.

375, capped. I love these guys and they just keep bringin it again and again. Pours a slightly murky pale gold with a loose filmy white head that doesnt stick around for too long. Bright tangy funky nose, no sharpness, no bite, but nice tang from the grapes, nice funky wet hay ferment character, with wood character balanced in beautifully. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Tangy, slightly funky mid palate, showing some oak, all beautifully approachable and refreshing. Hides the ABV. Could easily drink this all day, and could just as easily get in a bit of trouble doing that.

On tap at The Beer Mongers, pours a cloudy blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is very vinous, with lots of white wine, followed by citrus zest and oaky woodiness. Flavour is massively vinous, with tons of white wine dominating upfront, followed by astringent citrus and dry oak. Rather acetic on the finish, with heaps of white wine. Very good.
