Gravity cask at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Light to mid-gold, ever-so-slightly hazy with a creamy white head. Aroma of banana, candy sugar, soft citrus in the aroma. Tastes sweet at first, then it morphs into a bitterness with astringent character. Finish s dry and slightly medicinal, with the bitterness obscuring any individual flavours in the aftertaste. Full body with light natural carbonation. Decent but doesn't blow me away. Scopey (15879) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 12, 2017
Can from Fresh Fields Croydon. It pours cloudy orange with a medium white head. The aroma is rich, sweet, sticky, oily, apricot, persimmon, marmalade, Irn bru and piney action. The taste is slick, dry, oily, some bitterness, raw pine, resin, warming alcohol, apricot, nectarine, persimmon, pithy citrus and a touch of spice. Finish is drying and linger. Medium body and fine, massaging carbonation. Rich and oily. Pretty tasty stuff. Maybe a bit heavy, but it is enjoyable. Stuu666 (15056) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 5, 2017

February 2017 - 330ml can at home in Richmond watching ’Suits’. As ’Almasty MKX IPA’, 6.1%. Vibrant orange, hazy, foamy white head leaves crescents of lacing. Aroma is pine, mint, floral and chalky. Body is smooth with tingly carbonation. Taste is burnt pine, very piney and quite bitter actually, lightly floral, crisp with that bitter astringent finish. Very hoppy indeed. Reminds me of Alpine Duet for raw pine hoppiness. Good. (3.7) jamestulloch (4367) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 14, 2017
Can from Bridgend Services. Hazy amber body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel and pine. Flavour of orange and peanut shell. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. A bit underwhelming.
