3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The aroma for this beer is truly a unique one. The predominant notes are the pink peppercorns, which present as an aroma reminiscent of a well made dinner. It pours a hazy straw yellow with a full white head. The hops come through in the flavor, with the spicy notes blending well with the pink peppercorns. Light and easy drinking on the palate. The biggest complaint I have is the price, at $11 a bottle, this can get a bit pricey.
Tap at Drunken Duck vicenza. Hazy orange color, creamy head. Aroma is spiced, flowery, nicely malty and mild fruity, hopped but not a lot. Taste is savory, malty, balanced. Medium body, soft carbonation, easy to drink, clean finish light spiced and floral. rumore (868) - Rimini, ITALY - AUG 28, 2017
From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours hazy loaded gold with average white foam, very fine. Aroma is delicate, a little citrus/lemony, and spiced. Body is fairly light with discrete carbonation. Taste is a little sweet at first and bitter afterwards, though what you notice most is the spiced character of the beer. Finish is relatively long. Palme (4857) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 30, 2017
On tap @ The Gingerman. Not too pink in the color, but I guess that wasn’t really the intention either. Mild cloudy darkish golden on color with a really good looking lasting and lacing creamy off-white head. Smells good also. A little candy sweetness going on here with red fruits and soft citrus. It’s a little piney also. Nice. It’s also quite fruity in the taste. Soft in the carbonation and prickling while it’s light oily in the mouth. Melony and not over hopped at all. A but dull if anything to have to say. A soft fruity peppery hint but no heat. Nice and drinkable but nothing I need to repeat.

Bottle at Centrolina DC pours a pink/gold with some cloudy, white head. Nose has some peppercorn, grass, straw, light lemon, some candy, yeast. Flavor is much more saison with yeast and pepper, some esters too, straw. Dry finish. Just not an IPA.
