Tap at Pawling Mt. Straw color. Some citrus. Easy drinking but watery. There are plenty of blonds I like better nimbleprop (8750) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAY 26, 2017
12oz bottle pours a clear gold with some white head. Standard nose, grain, flowers, dough. Flavor is the same, a little cheap malt, biscuit, yeast, a touch estery here. Watery finish. hayduke (5677) - Eureka, California, USA - DEC 2, 2016
Pours gold with a white head. Nose of grain and light floral hops. Light body. Flavor is light malts and light hops again. Finished with some light bitterness. Bland. ChadPolenz (1847) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - NOV 29, 2016

AROMA: Strong spicy hop scent (almost skunky but unlikely to be lightstruck). Low fruity note of green pear, grape or apple. Slight lemon zest. 8/12
APPEARANCE: Honey amber/gold; body is fairly hazy but effervescent. Moderate white froth leaves nice lacing. 2/3
FLAVOR: Palette is fairly neutral but there is a light grainy malt sweetness. Little to no fruit flavor other than a subtle lemon zest at the finish. Low hop presence; some mild spiciness. Wheat is present, but not distracting. Simple, but enjoyable. 14/20
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body; medium-high CO2. Smooth and crisp; refreshing and quaffable. Clean finish. 5/5
OVERALL IMPRESSION: This is an Americanized Kolsch and probably better considered an 18A. Enjoyable as a quaffable blonde ale. Would be better packaged in cans than bottles. 6/10
TOTAL SCORE: 33/50
12 ounce bottle from a beer of the month box. Light haze in this clear honey golden beer. A smaller white head. I smell some grain and light noble hops. Pale malts lead the flavor profile. Biting bitterness is quite sharp but not real dominant. Some grain, honey, and spice. Herbal notes and citrus hops. Finish loses a lot.

Pours a clear golden color with white head. Cereal grains mostly on the nose, a little bread as well; follows onto the palate. Light bodied. Finishes with more of the same typical blonde ale. jsmerig (1667) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 25, 2016
Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of straw with a lemony pepper overtone. Taste is smooth sweet with appropriate bitterness to offset. Slight bitterness persists through the finish leaving a decent dryness.

This beer pours a hazy golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to a wispy film. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, citrus and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hop aftertaste. Average overall. A little thin. Very breast on the nose with a lemony tang in the mouth. Not terrible but it really doesn’t do much at all.
