Swing top bottle(750ml). -bought all 4 Alphand beers in a local souvenir and liquor store in Risoul, Hautes Alpes, France. Costs ridiculous high 5.50€ per bottle.
Reddish/amber coloured, small quick-disappearing white head. The aroma is light malty and yeasty with strong caramel notes and something very aromatic. Bitter finish.

Hildigöltur (5103) - København, DENMARK - MAR 24, 2006
Bottled. Hazy amber coloured with loads of small black floaties. Very yeasty aroma. Flavour of yeast and rotten fruits. Thin and watery. Bad.

3.9
TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 12, 2006
Poured from a bottle purchased in Morzine (French Alps), a slightly cloudy dark amber with some carbonation and a large frothy beige head that subsided quickly. A delicious molasses malt aroma with just a hint of fruit. Again the flavour is deliciously malty with a tangy finish. Though there is quite a carbonated mouth feel, but still had a smoothness. A nice find this.

2.8
Papsoe (25055) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 2, 2006
(Bottle 75 cl) Slightly hazy amber with a creamy, off-white head leaving some laces. Malty, lightly caramelish nose. Rather light body with a heavy carbonation. Vague notes of caramel malt and some lightly fruity accents. Weak, hoppy finisk. Thanks to Bierkönig. 290106
