A: Alpine Ale pours a clear, light golden color with a thin white foam. S: The aroma is citrus hops and sweet, bready malt. I was expecting a bit more from an Alpine beer, but its alright. T: The taste is quite balanced. The beer has nice citrus and pine hop components, and a sweet malt character that takes over dominates most of the sip. The finish is crisp and bitter. M: The body is medium and there is a moderate level of carbonation. Definitely fitting for the beer. D: This is pretty much what I expect from a pale ale. A nice malt component and some hops to balance things out without being overly bitter. A solid beer, but its a bit pricey for an APA bomber.

On tap at Alpine, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is pretty bland and lifeless, with biscuity malt and a light hop character. Flavour brings out light floral hops and biscuity malt. Very light and pretty flavourless. Clean and drinkable - just boring.
