On tap from PP C-Bad. Golden copper color. Rich floral bouquet of citrus pine and grass. Medium bodied ber with a solid amount of tasty bitter hops. Finish is super well balanced and a little on the drier side. Fantastic brew and good drink this all night.

Pours hazy light amber with a big, offwhite head that leaves spider web lace. Smells sweet, fruity and slightly grassy hoppy. Tastes sweet and fruity hoppy overall. Earthy with a bit of mildew, but just a hint. Pretty good IPA. Medium body, slightly chewy/grainy with nice carbonation.

Draft at Toronado SD. I had no idea this was a lager. Tasted like an IPA. Poured a clear medium orange color. The head was thick and white with good retention and lacing. Big hop nose with hints of grass, citrus fruits (especially orange and grapefruit). Some malty caramel cowered in the background but wasn’t insignificant. Light to medium bodied and delicately sweet with moderate to high hop bitterness. Nice, but not as good as Duet.

On tap at Obriens listed as Alpine/SD Brewers Guild uncommon lager, but all the notes I wrote make it seem like this is the brew. Ishould call them. Notes as follow: Hoppy like IPA on the nose. Ruby-amber with strong off-white head. Says it’s a lager, but taste is big hoppy IPA.Very quick and subtle flat tartness. Long lingering pinyness. Little bit of pepper pops out. This lager is a great IPA.

On tap at PB TapRoom. Pours a clear gold with white head. Piney hops, citrus, lemon zest, and some nutty malt. Tasty beer, fresh and drinkable.

Tap @ Toronado S.D. Pours a mostly clear golden yellow with a fluffy white head, nice lacing. Big citrus hop nose with some cereal grain in the back ground. Very clean and dry, low on the bitterness, a great session IPA.

Pours an orangy-yellow with a thin white head. Nose is heavy with pine and PNW hops, and a hint of caramel. Taste is heavy on pine resin, orange zest, light caramel, not too dry, but fairly dry, nice hint of sweetness, but mostly just a light beer with tons of hop flavor.

Tap at Toronado tonight. This seems far too extreme on the hops to fit the california common style. Pours orange with a bright white ring. Nose is sweet. Taste is somewhat too much on the resin and the pine for my liking.

Brewer Guild Fest 09: Pours a muddy, dull orange with a thick, cream colored head. Nose is full of fresh hop notes of the piney pursuasion. Flavors a hoppy as well with an almost missing malt background...yet the interestingly soft body here allows the hop flavors to shine rather than to overwhelm...citrus rind and pine everywhere. Very interesting IPA with a softer body than most.
