Bottle poured after moving. (Moving sucks butt) Pours a deep wine red with next to no head. Maybe a few bubbles here and there. Aroma is a little off with some funky cheese and fruit notes that linger then disappear with some time and warmth. Taste is at first a little bitter (odd) with then some more funk, bitter cherry skin about 1/3 of the way through the taste and a very hot/wine like finish. Overall, it wasn’t horrible and the palate was actually really nice with the body being a little thicker which is a definite plus in sours for me. I haven’t had a "great" Alpine sour but glad they are doing these bottles.
Pours slightly hazy amber with a thin pale buff head. Aroma offers sharp, tart fruity and subtle malty notes. Tart flavor presents fruity and fresh malt notes. Body has decent fizz and a spur fruity note. ineedbeer (2152) - Oakland, California, USA - JUL 16, 2015
Poured from a bottle, vintage 2012. Aroma is fairly cherry forward with some tart cherry and dark cherry notes. Medium light acidity with light citrus. Rather juicy with some medium light oak notes. Not much funk, which is surprising because I remember having this in the past and it being really funky in a bad way. A light malt presence similar to what is found in a Flanders red. Pours a hazy, purplish red with a bit of a brown hue and a medium sized, fairly thick, slightly pink head that recedes to a thin film that lingers. Low lacing and small legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with quite a strong cherry presence. The cherries are tart, but also slightly sweet and juicy. Some light malt notes and medium light oak. A light spiciness is also present, likely from the cherry skins. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, way better than I was expecting. I wish there was some funkiness, but no funk is better than the parmesan cheese/foot fungus funk this beer had when it was fresh. Lots of juicy cherry notes with light citrus and balanced oak. Poured an auburn, slightly murky color with one finger of offwhite head when I got it. Below average spotty lacing on the sides of the glass. Poor retention. (Sight - 3.63)
Smelled vomit, sour milk, cheese, cheddar cheese, butter, red wine and red grapes. (Smell - 3.00)
Tasted sour fruit, tart, sour milk, cheese, Smarties and old red wine. (Taste - 3.63)
Light body. Oily texture. Above average carbonation. Abrupt, astringent finish. (Feel - 3.75)
Might be my first Lambic (yes, it was) and maybe my last (who am I kidding?). I’m guessing this was above average for the style. (Feel - 3.63)

Pours a dark cherry red with a pretty pink quilt. Smells...Fucking stinks. Jesus anal farts, diacetyl, feet, popcorn, rotten corn and a bit of pinot. This is one, if not the, most offensive smelling beers I’ve come across. Just a fucking abomination of a nose. So scared to taste it... Tastes real bad. Metal and fetid mushrooms and rotten sox rubbed on fungus infected ball sacks. Fucking nasty. Hella dry and thin with hi carb. I’m repulsed.

Top 5 worst thing Ive ever eaten/drank. RIght up there with Blue Lady batch 37 and that Nestle crunch bar I ate when i was little without looking at it that was filled with maggots. Smells like rotten garbage and cherries(note the 3 for aroma). Taste is undrinkably awful. Rotten Blue cheese and gym socks. An odd mix of rotten sourness and salty bile. Gross.

22oz bottle at CBC Clerkenwell, thanks to Paul! It pours a coppery red color with minimal white head. Aroma is exactly parmesan cheese, that’s it. And intense. Flavor is much better though: acetic, cherry, lightly funky. A bit of wood later. Then it shows cherry pit. Astringent. Sour. Mildly funky. That’s the finish. Quite pleasant. Bottle via trade, shared at my birthday drinks. It pours hazy deep red with a medium pinkish-white head. The nose is earth, musty, aged cheddar, parmesan cheese and some cherry fighting its way through. The taste is tart cherry, cherry pip, mouth-puckering tartness, grape, wood, strawberry, mustiness, earth, faint jam and sherbet with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Lovely dark pink / reddish pour with a slightly pink head. Nose is oak and cherry. Taste is big time cherry (this is a rich, deep flavor), followed by some tartness, wood and wine character with wine-like finish. Not overly sour. Nice.
