Bottle 22oz: light has, deep slightly amber straw with light head and good lace. It’s pretty closed. Not much lift. It’s clean with a little hop and malt. Rich slight sweet palate. Moderate bitterness. Great CO2. The palate is fantastic. Great volume. Loads of malt.
Not a classic West Coast IPA. wombat23 (1621) - Texas, USA - FEB 18, 2017
Shared 12 oz. bottle. Pours a pale golden hue with an off-white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, pine. Taste is tropical fruit, pine, orange zest, and just enough caramel malt flavors to balance everything quite nicely. Finish is clean, juicy and moderately bitter. Excellent. darbeer75 (938) - Round Rock, Texas, USA - FEB 18, 2017
Aroma: tons of citrus with some underlying dankness; yum; Appearance: hazy orange pour with thin white head that lingers; Taste: maltier than aroma, making for a very well balanced ipa; complex and refreshing; Palate: medium body with long, lightly bitter finish that develops slowly; Overall: delicious. Would definitely get again. ccex (1347) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 17, 2017
12 oz bottle pours a clear orange/amber color with moderate off-white head. Aroma oozes of juicy hops: pine resin plus citrus and tropical fruits with some honey. Taste is not dank at all, and so fruity that it is almost sweet. Caramel malts and honey dominate the flavor as much as the tangerine and pine before a bitter piney finish. Body is medium to full - almost chewy. Mouthfeel is slightly sticky. This is a delightful, well-balanced IPA I hope to try again.

TAP. A see through light gold with thin head.. Fresh juicy hop aroma, tropical punch.. Light body, easy malt gives way to juicy tropical hops, good crisp finish.. Sourced yardhouse Honolulu Oakes (18209) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 8, 2017
Bright amber. Thin, bubbly head. On the nose, there is a touch of orangey simcoe, and more floral, brighter amarillo, though with a touch of pine and light malt chewiness. Really nice on the palate - sweet orangey goodness, with hints of pineapple. The malts are a touch chewy, but just a touch, and a bit biscuity. Definitely some strength to it, as alcohol really picks up in the finish. It’s not the most modern IPA these days - but you can tell why it’s viewed as one of the finer ones of the last decade or so. 22oz bottle at my daughters new place in Laguna Niguel on 4th Feb 2017. Golden orange pour, full white head. Good hoppy nose and taste, light citrus and piney notes from the hop content, mild malty presence helps with the balance: nice, easy drinking IPA, semi-bitter and one of the best (for a visiting non hop head Brit) Californian IPA’s so far. Bottle from Clink, Birmingham. Really solid, clean, balanced IPA. Glassy hops, with a super delayed, honeyed warmth. Not punchy, not fruity, just delicious swigging professionalism. oobawa (1596) - Tennessee, USA - JAN 23, 2017
Nice cat pee Simcoe nose, heavy and potent, bursting with hop goodness. Taste is unexpectedly malt-forward, with honey-caramel sweetness that slowly transitions into a piney, resinous and vegetal back end. Fades bitter and semisweet. Solid.
