oobawa (1301) - Tennessee, USA - JAN 23, 2017
Nice cat pee Simcoe nose, heavy and potent, bursting with hop goodness. Taste is unexpectedly malt-forward, with honey-caramel sweetness that slowly transitions into a piney, resinous and vegetal back end. Fades bitter and semisweet. Solid.

Amarelo claro translúcido, espuma branca de média formação e pouca persistência. Leve resina e médio malte no aroma. Corpo leve/médio e média carbonatação. Ao final resina e pinho mais evidentes com intensidades similares.

Draft. Light golden body with a frothy white head. Aroma of pine, resin, grapefruit, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Resin/pine dominate this but balanced enough with some citrus/orange taste and sweet malts to keep it from being a resin bomb. Nice drinking.

lamas (1636) - Washington DC, USA - JAN 14, 2017
Bottle. Best by: 04/12/17. Different label than that in the picture. A slightly hazy amber pour with a thick beige head. Tangerines, kumquats, grapefruits, zesty citrus rinds, pine, and some caramel feature in the appetizing aroma. Goes down medium to full-bodied for the style. Crisp. Caramel and some sweet grains upfront taste-wise. Grapefruits, oranges, and zesty citrus rinds finish things off. Resiny and bitter at the end. Solid.

Alphadelic (2235) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 11, 2017
An orange ale with the classic mix of grapefruit and pine on the nose. There is a slight yeast fruitiness in there too I believe. In the mouth it is very smooth with a big texture and a continuation of the hop character from the aroma. This time it is accompanied by a burst of malt sweetness and then a zingy, acetone bitterness that lasts and lasts.

A clean, yet full bodied IPA. Very hoppy, bitter, yet refreshing. A go to for me when it’s on tap.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo. Clear amber gold pour with a white head. Aromas of tropical fruit, tangerine, corn, apricot. Flavours of vanilla, dessert pear, apricot, citrus. Sharp, bitter citrus finish. Nice.

I bit on this despite to 12 dollar price tag for the six pack - and I don’t really regret it - this is an exceptional IPA - clean malt base, with some honey, maybe a little melon comes out as the hops interplay with the malt - overall, though, clean and gets more dry and crisp through the middle and finish - potent but balanced hop flavors of pepper, grass, citrus rind - clean, bitter finish - world class.

Brewhemia (308) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 12, 2016
Clear light golden yellow and white head. Really delicious piney, leafy nad grassy aroma. Like a walk in the woods in the fall (except there’s aldo citrus, passion fruit, bread and caramel aroma etct). The taste is nicely balaced. Not overly bitter nor overly sweet. Really nice floral and piney hop flavor.
