Bottle at home, from HV, must have forgotten to rate this one ! 18/08/2016. Golden amber with a well appointed egg shell white cap with excellent retention qualities - a real looker of a beer ! Nose is caramel malt, light pine needle, orange peel, soft bread, cantaloupe melon, bubblegum. Taste comprises orange pith, bubblegum, tangerine, light grapefruit slathers, sticky tropicana, soft bread, candyfloss, caramel malt base. Medium bodied, soft soft pillowy massaging carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Solid IPA, the nose and flavour profile not as wow as when I first had this in the US but still as great IPA, brilliant mouthfeel and appearance.

(Alpine Beer Company Duet) Bottle at hime, 355 ml. Served into a shaker, ABV 7% Deep orange coloured body, mostly clear. Small but thick white head, with good retention. Aroma of caramel malts, cookie dough, orange peel. Taste is bitter, plenty of orange zest, grapefruit, some caramel and biscuit. Medium thin body, good carbonation, very dry palate. Although not super fresh you can tell is a very good one.

bottle. Orange with a small head. Lovely floral flavour with orange undertones. Slightly bitter finish. It would be hard to find a better example of this style. Not impossible but still difficult.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel malt, sticky juicy citrusy hops, grapefruit. Flavor of grassy hops, bready malt, bitter hop oils, citrus, hint of tropical fruits. Quite bitter, somewhat abrasive, although you warm up to it. 7/4/7/4/14 (3.6/5)
