hopscotch (11182) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 1, 2016
Growler... Pours clear and golden with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma is a medley of grapefruit, tropical fruits and melons. Medium-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and laid-back carbonation. The flavor is a fruity fusion of melons and grapefruit zest. Moderate bitterness in the lengthy finish. Bottle courtesy of 50belair!

Growler from brewery. Pours clear golden amber. Aroma is huge, juicy hop aromas of pineapple, mango, flowers, and oranges with some bready and caramel malt notes. Flavor aligns with the aroma and is huge and juicy hop flavors throughout, mostly citrus and tropical fruit notes, along with bready malt character and a lightly sweet boozy finish. Medium/full body.

Excellent, rated this as such just because I liked the duet a little better.

Draft at the brewery. Pours hazy gold with a fizzy, bubbly white head. Tastes like grapefruit hops, smooth booze, fresh grapefruit, resin, some orange, lemon, and caramel malt. Medium body and low carbonation. Smells like fresh grapefruit, grapefruit hops, resin, smooth booze, orange, lemon, and caramel malt.

Pinball (12264) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 13, 2015
Handbottle shared by Morten. Aroma is dusty very dry. Flowery malty. A very dry ipa. Flavor is malty thick juicy powerfully hoppy. Long time since I tasted anything this juicy. Hops are way strong but still balanced.

50belair (3680) - Florida, USA - NOV 10, 2015
Growler. Clear yellow pour with a white head. Mild citrus and grassy hop bouquet. Taste follows with mellow pine overtones. Hints of melon and tropical fruit. I prefer Bad Boy, but this is still a really solid IIPA. Good body and mouthfeel.

ctipping (2202) - Florida, USA - NOV 9, 2015
32 oz. growler. Deep orange body. Medium white head and a medium collar. Very bright orange citrus. Some pine. Alcohol. Some melon. Taste is citrusy. More grainy than I expected. Light sweetness. Medium carbonation. Medium heavy. The aroma is really dramatic and while it tastes nice, it doesn’t quite live up.

Type: 32-oz. crowler Glass: Hardwood Artisans pint glass From: Alpine Beer Company (brewery) in Alpine, Calif. Price: $9.26 Purchased: Oct. 27, 2015 Consumed: Oct. 27, 2015 Misc.: Opening day of release Poured a golden, pale, clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of frothy, white head. Average amount of slow moving bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Poor spotty lacing on the sides of the glass. Minimal retention on the top all the way down. (Sight - 3.50) Smelled a wonderful mix of hops, getting Amarillo, Mosaic, dank resin, Citra, earthy grapefruit rind, tropical, mango, unripe dry nectarine and floral. (Smell - 4.50) Tasted nothing like 9.4 percent ABV, only getting a tad booziness late. Getting Citra, Amarillo, Mosaic, floral, resin, bitter grapefruit rind, earthy mango, nectarine, tropical zest and peach. (Taste - 4.25) Light body. Oily-to-thin texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.25) This was a really good beer overall. Still getting used to going back to 0.25 increments (from 0.12-0.13), so that may have affected things here. Scary how well the alcohol was hidden. (Overall - 4.25) 4.27 95 A
