Pint purchased from Growl Movement in Salem Oregon. $4.00 Clear golden ale with a small white head. Good hoppy fruity aromas , some biscuit malts. Very nice hopped fruity taste..the malts try to balance but no match. Great medium mouth feel..so easy. A great APA.....

Bottle at hop, burns & black. It pours clear amber with a decent white head. The aroma is soft, sweet orange, tangerine, nectarine, bread and candy. The taste is crisp, bitter, pine, grassy, green hops, tangerine, pithy clementine, straw and a touch of spice with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Easy drinking stuff, but nowhere near as good as hopped.

Alengrin (4812) - BELGIUM - MAY 15, 2016
Californian session IPA with thick, irregular, off-white, sticky head and beautifully warm old gold colour, initially clear with a haze of yeast bits. Dank and fragrant IPA aroma of pine resin, yellow grapefruit, tangerine peel, lemon blossom, biscuit, papaja, fresh ginger, chicken broth, wormwood, sundried tomato, garden nettles. Crisp, lively onset, very clean and restrained fruity impressions (tangerine, mango), subdued sweetishness and dito sourishness, fairly strong carbo, light but nicely smooth body, supple toasted maltiness, only very restrainedly sweetish and lightly bittering, working well together with increasing hop bitterness, spicy, tonic water- and grapefruit-like and leaving a long-lasting bitter coating in the back of the mouth and throat as well as retronasal pine and grapefruit peel aromas. Crisp, light and flavorsome, very standard for this style but very well executed, in the league of e.g. Founders All Day IPA and the like.

12 oz. bottle. Pale golden color, with a pillowy, white head. The nose is mangoes, strong floral notes, butterscotch, and pine. Sweet, with a pretty nice, mild bitterness. Light to medium body, creamy, effervescent, and crisp. This is a pretty solid IPA.

Great hoppy earthy and clean aroma. Golden color with bone white head. Smooth up front with a kick of hops that fades quickly. Not a great tasting IPA to me, but admittedly session IPAs are not my strong suit. Funny aftertaste, it is sessionable and has hops, so I guess it delivers in the category. The palate is smooth and low carb for an IPA, I did like that. Overall, I would not buy again and this is possibly the worst top 10 beer I have ever had. I like Alpine, maybe session IPAs are not my thing.

Might be the best Session IPA out there...bright, loads of citrus and enamel peeling acidity. Beautiful 10 karat pour with a tightly packed ivory foam...sticks to the glass. Could drink gallons and gallons...and have!

5/13/16. Draft at Bull McCabes. Mild pine and tropical fruit nose. Strong thick hop in the mouth. Perhaps a bit out of balance for a 5.25% ABV. Worked well with ahoy Indian curry. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Lightly hazy, pale amber. Some small floaters. Stream of fine bubbles. Thin, lasting, white head. Nose is pine needle. Woody resin. Some fusty orange. Pretty dank, overall. Taste is chewy sweet. Gets dank, resinous bitter. Fairly full bodied. Soft carbonation. Chewy, resinous bitter finish. Decent, but its not the freshest beer, and it shows.

Good session IPA. Aroma was ok. A. Little thin with lemon, soap and light malt. Pour was a nice slightly hazy medium gold with a one finger white head. Taste was very light and crisp. Not extremely hoppy as some of the greats, but still a very refreshing beer. Nice carbonation.
