One of my fav places in SD for beer. This one. Is very hoppy floral in. Nature. The flavor has some mild malts. The hop flavor is mostly flora hops very bitter/smooth character if that makes sense. schismatik (5) - WHITTIER, USA - JUN 1, 2013 does not count
Pours a hazy copper orange with two finger head that leaves a few mins after pouring. Smell is of dank piney citrus hops. Taste is piney, citrusy/grapefruit hop blast. The finish is dry and crisp. The mouthfeel is light and dry. Overall the best session ipa I?ve had to date! ordybill (1801) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - MAY 1, 2016
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a slightly murky golden color with a medium sized off-white head. The aroma is pine, citrus and malt. The flavor is world class and it is full of citrus. MetalNHopHead (2018) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - MAR 13, 2016
Alpine’s Hoppy Birthday was the punniest and most appropriate way to celebrate a hophead’s birthday -- that hophead being me. A damn great present to myself, as it turned out. Grassy, citrusy, and floral aromatics. Flavors of juicy grapefruit, bittersweet grass, oily cannabis, chewy melon, pinewood, and cracker-like malt. This 6-hop Session Ale was just what I needed to close out a great day and usher in another mediocre year on this rock. asceticbrewer (69) - Arizona, USA - MAR 15, 2015
Tap. Pours a golden orange, with a thick slightly yellow head. Aroma is tropical hops. Taste is tropical bitterness, and is exceptionally well balanced.

You can immediately smell its strong and complex aroma. Made with 6 different hops, its very hoppy and enjoyable. This beer totally opens my eyes and sense of taste! Huhzubendah (3709) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 16, 2012
Growler shared by yourefragile. Thanks Michael!
The beer appears straw yellow and slightly hazy. The head is thick and white, displays lasting retention, and leaves ample lacing on the tulip glass. The aroma...wow. One of the best aromas in a pale ale I have ever experienced. This would give any IPA more than a run for its money. Fresh hops and a blast of varied citrus. The flavor is absolutely phenomenal. This is perhaps the most drinkable and enjoyable <6% beer I have had the pleasure to sample. Perfect? Ya, pretty much. My highest recommendation.

Tap @ Answer. Hazy dark golden with decent head and light lacing. Cat piss, some resin, some pith- nice full aroma. Flavor follows. Tongue scraper. 77ships (9947) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - OCT 26, 2015
Thanks! to Abijen. 650 ml. bottle sampled @ ZZT XIII. Lightly hazy golden, little white head. Nose is chockful of lovely onion hops, garlic, pine peel. Taste is rich grass, onion, garlic, dank, rich, light malts. Very nice rich hop oil body. Very nice beer, at 5.25 % you could just as easily call this one an IPA as opposed to a Session IPA but that is marketing. Kids these days with their session fluff. tsd08460 (1193) - Marshall, Virginia, USA - NOV 11, 2015
