4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the brewery numerous occasions. Super easy drinking ale. Very refreshing on a warm day out east in Alpine. Bitter, floral and crisp throughout with citrus and pine character, very thirst quenching. Just like the rest of Alpines world-class bitter brews, insanely balanced from beginning to end.
Draft from Growlers to Go in Short Pump, VA. The ale poured a clear Amber color with a white head with limited lacing. The aroma of pale malts and floral hops. The taste has more hop bitterness with some tropical fruit. This is an ale with a cocktail of bittering hops. The ale has a medium body and average carbonation. The finish is clean with lingering hops. fonefan (52351) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 14, 2017

DATE: August 8, 2017... OCCASION: celebrating forty-one years of life and thanking God for them all... GLASSWARE: Brew at the Zoo pint... pours a sizzling copper body teaming with effervescence... the white head is thick with bubbles as well, stopping at a half-finger and holding resiliently... grapefruit, pine, mango, light caramel and tea leaves, with the promise that this is indeed well hopped but also concerned with a balanced profile... the first sip is smooth, balanced and lively enough to elicit attention... creamy as it curls around the tongue, an embrace that causes one to pull back and savor--definitely bigger than its 5.25% ABV!... the back end is memorable, with a lingering malt sensation... the body is substantial but not weighty, as a session should be, and its hops announce nicely at the teeth... the six-headed hop monster is put in its place by a caramel backbone, lasting and ringing in its strength... welcome bitterness bites at the tongue and teeth, with grapefruit, pine, lemon, bitters, and that unmistakable hop punch that makes me wish more than one of these was in the mystery mix pack I found it in... I would buy a case of this, gladly, and rank it above the last few sessions I’ve had--and they were good, too... Borup (15942) - Albertslund, DENMARK - JUL 20, 2017

Small bottle from Liberty on The Drive in Vancouver. A pale amber beer with moderate white head and a faint citrus hop nose. Moderately bitter, slightly fruity, muted malt background. Nicely balanced with moderate alcohol. A great refresher for a hot summer afternoon, and a perfect session ale. 3.7 Navers (265) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUL 1, 2017

Nice beer; sits on the tongue with a great aftertaste of soft bitterness. Golden color not light but not dark either. Citrus/pine overall taste. I enjoyed this one.
