Bomber. Really enjoyed this. Very sour right now, with a touch of acetic but lots of fruit and pumpkin pie spice. Just an interesting beer. You could still hang on to it for awhile.
12/10/2016 -- from notes: 22oz bottle, thanks to kbutler1. Mostly clear darker orange color. Thin off-white head, some bits of lace. Little particles in the body. Pumpkin seems to be very subtle, maybe just a little bit of spice. Some vinegar. Moderate sour, moderate sweet. Some creme. Medium-plus body, kind of slick, light carbonation. Interesting wild ale -- esp. considering the 7 years age. Prufrockstar (2259) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - DEC 10, 2016
Bottle, thanks to kbutler1. This was an unexpected treat. Can’t say pumpkin or spice plays into it, but a nice, sour-brown; light balsamic, strong malt character, acetic, nice balance between sweetness and the rest. Slick texture, average carbonation. Overall: really, really nice. vtafro (7451) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - DEC 5, 2016
Bottle. Brown pour with tan head. No spice nor sweetness left, but fruit, pumpkin and funk aromas. Pumpkin, some sweetness, tart fruit Flavors. Ughsmash (7502) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 27, 2015
2009 bomber. Poured fiery reddish-orange with a tight-bubbled beige head. The aroma picked up sour cherries, vinous notes, and footy funk over light pumpkin and biscuity malts.. more of the spice showed up as it warmed.. very interesting. The flavor opened with major vinous sourness, prickly carbonation, and dry, funky Brett on the tip of the tongue.. light middle with biscuity malts showing.. cinnamon, fruity Brett, and more oak tartness around.. finished very dry and very sour. Light-medium bodied with the sourness really shining.. cool interplay between sour vinous barrel, pumpkin-ny notes, and spices on the finish. Great stuff! 651mL at a bottle share. Treated like god nectar by participants. Clear amber pour, low acid cut foam. Nose is fresh and funky, mild squash, citrus, lime, not much pumpkin. Taste is almost all lime citric, extremely mouth puckering but no vinegar/acetic thankfully. Whatever pumpkin was in this beer is impossible to pick out over the heavy acid. All lemon/lime juice- one note.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, dark reddish brow with thin white head, aroma brought notes of big tart fruits, hints of slight vegetal notes, hints of earth, slight yogurt, hints of toffee, slight spice, touch of grain. Taste is a mix of spice, grass, slight vanilla, hints of toffee, slight grain, finishing bitter, dry, slightly tart. cubs (10742) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - NOV 2, 2013
Bottle @ Matt’s house, courtesy of Armin. Thanks! Pours a hazy reddish appearance with a thin tan head. Vinegar, black cherry, vanilla, blackberry aroma. Tangy, dark cherry, blackberry, red wine, vanilla, rich vinegar flavor. A bit oxidized. Not bad. Steve_0 (3818) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 2, 2013
Bottle at Matt’s with friends, courtesy of Armin. Thanks Man! Pour is clear amber with a small cream head that quickly dissipated. Big sour fruity, peach skin, pumpkin, lightly spicy, earthy, lemony, and green appley aroma. Taste is big green apples, pears, white wine vinegar, oaky, caramelly, toffee, and huge acetic finish. Slick mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Pretty nice sour, but this one has gotten way too acetic over the years. mcberko (19880) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 6, 2013
22 oz. bottle, sent from St. Fun (thanks a lot, Josh), pours a fairly clear orange amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is very complex, full of white wine, brett, cinnamon and nutmeg - sounds bizarre, but it somehow works beautifully. Flavour brings out notes of white wine, highly tart light fruits, a moderate brett presence, with trace elements of cinnamon and nutmeg. You wouldn’t think such qualities would work well together, but somehow it all works. Medium tart mouthfeel, with a bit of vinegar, and a finish of pumpkin and nutmeg. Decent, but too acidic and vinegary for me. burg326 (5630) - Florida, USA - JUN 14, 2013
22 ounce bottle poured a dark cloudy orange color with aromas that blow your mind away with sour pumpkins and wine. I felt the enamel from my teeth start to hurt when I took my whiff. Flavors were a mixture of tartness, light sourness, barnyard, hay, and some wine. At the very end you get subtle pumpkin pulp, damn fine beer, wish I had more bottles.
