January 10th, 2015 - Alpine’s Irish Red is, like many other Alpine branded beers, characterized by hops and hoppy qualities. While the aroma is water, diluted, and has a slightly off-putting scent of overripe bananas, the taste is where I get more of the core Irish red flavor palate, combined with the hops. In that sense it seems more like a tame hoppy brew, with the reddish qualities completely subservient to the hop profile, losing balance and, most importantly, a sense of the intended style. dnstone (3462) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - AUG 24, 2016
Pours an amber color. Rich malty body. Taste is light and bready, malt dominated.

Maybe a touch above average. Faint grainy aroma. Slight mohagany color. Medium body. Muted flavors of grains with a slightly harsh bitter finish. Some sweetness. desurfer (1302) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - MAR 6, 2016
Draft @ WOB Viera. Deep reddish body. Loads of caramel malts, very sweet. Cloying in the finish. Just too malt-heavy for me.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours reddish with a tan head. Taste caramel, sweet, malt. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.

On tap @ Murphy's. Nice rich aroma. Good malt aroma. Almost no head. Deep rich copper brown color. Good combo of malts and hops. Just enough hops to cut the roasted malt flavors. A little light on the mouth feel.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a vibrant copper color with a medium sized fluffy tan head that lingered and left exceptional lacing. The aroma was sweetish, malty and had a faint fruity presence. The flavor was malty, nutty, a bit toasty, caramel and faint fruitiness. Medium length finish. Medium body. Unassuming but pleasant.
