Another waylaid review. Grapefruit and tropicals, pine. And I’ve come to the conclusion that rye is a great addition to just about anything.

Bottle in Seattle. Lovely wafting aroma. Solid funk, cheese, a little lemon. Some rye brashness. Bright white cream on cloudy yellow white body. Bright, kind of unusual appearance. Clean, full IPA. Sweet hops, Nelson, some grape must. Rye is in check and a nice compliment. Simply fantastic.

Nice spicy and piney aroma and flavors. Mildly sweet and relatively complex. The kind of beer that would be easy to drink quite a few. Light caramel color and a medium body. Not too filling.
