Man, this stuff tastes so good. Aroma is just right malt with true Nelson tart, fruity, but also a little resin. With these malts, super easy drinking. Slight chewy body. I want more! kevd193213 (992) - Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA - APR 3, 2016
Bottle. Light orange/deep yellow slightly cloudy pour with a thin off white head. Aroma of passion fruit, piney hops, soap, and light malt. Thin to medium body, very drinkable which can be somewhat dangerous given the ABV. Nice snappy finish. jgb9348 (6478) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAR 31, 2016
Rich light copper coloured body with a thinnish tan head, about a centimetre tall. Aroma of pure new world hops with some passionfruit, orange zest, citrus, perfume and a bunch of light malt noticeable as well - fairly balanced. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive hops up front but not terribly bitter, but still packing the tropical fruit flavour, with some noticeable malt and earth showing as well near the end. Aftertaste shows some bitterness from the hops, but also a lot of perfume and some grass as well. Overall, a pretty well-balanced IPA, but nothing exceptional or really worth searching out - this was fine, but I was expecting a better West Coast IPA from this brewery. I sampled this 65 cL Green Flash-styled tall bottle purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 17-January-2016 for US$7,69 sampled at home in Washington after just returning from Europe a few minutes earlier on 27-March-2016. Bottle hauled back from California by Colin, many thanks to him for that. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, dank, citrus, grapefruit on the nose. Taste is much the same hoppy, dank, slightly malty, citrus, grapefruit and a little rye. Quite bitter but in a good way. A quality IPA from California. edwardbass (859) - Illinois, USA - MAR 19, 2016
Hazy yellow color with a really cream medium white head. Taste is resinous with citrus, though more resin on the aftertaste. Malt balance is perfect. Carbonation has some of the finest bubbles, and LOTS of them, that I’ve encountered, especially in an IPA. Dry, and super-easy drinking.

Slightly hazy yellow with minimal head. Aroma is where it shines: resinous with citrus and berry notes. Taste is same, but lighter, and dry with clean bitterness into the finish.

Pours a cloudy, white-yellow (like a wit), with minimal head. Aroma is full of a very strong grapefruit, with other florals and some grassiness. Flavor is big and bold--citrus/grapefruit, with loads of hop bite in the finish. Very bitter beer with a pretty dry finish. Top-notch. MetalNHopHead (2182) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - MAR 5, 2016
A single-hop IPA featuring Nelson Sauvin brewed with rye in the West Coast style? Yes to all of that, please. A golden orange pour with a snowy, rocky head. Grapefruit, orange, pineapple, mango, peach cream, lemongrass, and bread aromas. Flavors are complex yet beautifully cohesive. Lemon balm, spicy rye, tangerine, vinous grape, and tropical juice. Mouthfeel is thick, semi-dry, crisp, sticky, balanced. Just beautiful. thornecb (6060) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 4, 2016
Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to coat surface. Tropical fruit and onion aromas. Soft with sweet and sour caramel upfront turning to earthly pumpernickel in the lasting finish.
