Growler courtesy of GT2, thank you sir! Clear bright golden color, large gluffy white head with great retention, delicate lacing. Aroma of fresh grass, scallions, licorice, wow! Taste is moderately bitter grass. Very nice. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 27, 2011
A: The pour is a clear golden color with a nice tall white head and some streaks of lace.
S: As usual with a hoppy Alpine beer, the nose is just stellar. Great citrus character to it with plenty of floral and spicy notes as well. A bit of bread and and biscuit give the beer some malt flavor and a light sweetness.
T: The citrus hops are the first thing I taste here and the grapefruit and tangerine notes are just great. A touch of grass along with some rather strong floral hop flavors. Like with the nose, just enough malt flavor and sweetness.
M: Medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.
O: Just supremely easy to drink. Very enjoyable. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - SEP 12, 2011
(Growler) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, herbs, tangerine, and grass. Flavor of florals, herbs, grass, earthiness, caramel, some citrus, and pine. hopscotch (11104) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 11, 2011
Growler...Clear golden ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The aromatic highlights are grapefruit, star fruit and toffee. Light to medium-bodied with busy carbonation. The flavor is quite hoppy although the bitterness is relatively low. Also, toffee and butterscotch are offered up. Finishes crisp, floral and fruity. Light orange pour with a nice white head. Another great beer from Alpine. Lots of citrus, oranges, yeast, grassy notes. Flavor is spicy hops, mango, grassy notes...damn good!

Growler from the brewery two days ago. Mega fresh. Pours a crystal clear golden. Thick, fluffy, yellowish head. Thick, webby lacing. Sheen and super rocky. Nose is fresh lemon, mango, butterscotch, white pepper, pithy durian, vanilla. Taste is tangy, spicy, thicker butterscotch, mango and cantaloupe. Palate is quenching, soft, a bit oily and dense. Alpine written all over it. This is solid. bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - JUL 18, 2011
Draft. Golden beer with an off-white head. Grapefruit and summer fruit aroma. Grapefruit and light pine flavor with light earth. Medium bodied. Pine and earth lingers with malt and grapefruit. Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - FEB 1, 2012
On tap at the Santee Oggi’s pizzeria pouring clear gold with white head and some nice lacing. The aroma is a mix of citrus and spicy to near grassy bitter hops with a firm sweet maltiness riding alongside. The taste is chewy malt sweetened citrus as well as a load of spicy hops, a touch of roasted malts and plenty of malt sweetened hoppy goodness going on in the background. This is a solid brew with plenty of both hop flavor and hop bitterness and nicely supported by a modest sweet malt base. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUL 18, 2011
On tap. Pours with a clear golden body with a large, foamy white head. Creamy, with good retention. Huge hop aroma! Citrusy, tangerine, grapefruit, orange, tropical fruits and mango. Dry, malt bill, lightly grainy. Flavors are again huge. Really hoppy (I get columbus)! Tropical fruit, pomelo, over ripe fruit, mango, esters, fruity, lightly grassy, grainy, dry. Lively bubbles. Awesome! Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 18, 2011
Growler courtesy of richiesd. Pours copper with a lasting off white head. Smells of melon, sweet juicy citrus, some pine, nutty. Tastes earthy with some floral elements and a spicy bitter, grassy finish.
