(En fût à la brasserie): Un corps céréalier juteux, filiforme et craquant, des houblons parfumés, agrumés et une belle finale d’amertume moelleuse. wheresyourball (575) - El Cajon, California, USA - OCT 5, 2015
Growler to tulip. Pours an amber color with a medium off white head. Nose is really great - pine, citrus, hops, malt, toffee. Flavor is pine, citrus, and sweet malt, with a dry slightly hoppy finish. User134089 (1644) - - SEP 18, 2015
Type: 64-oz. growler
Glass: Beer Nerd tulip glass
From: Alpine Beer Company in Alpine, Calif.
Purchased: Sept. 15 2015
Consumed: Sept. 15, 2015
Poured a caramel, orange, slightly hazy color with two ringers of frothy off-white head. Some bubble streams coming up on the sides of the glass. Very good circular, foamy, spiderweb lacing on the sides of the glass. Above average retention on the top of the glass. (Sight - 4.38)
Smelled a potent whiff of tropical, Citra, floral, mango, pine, juicy nectarine, orange juice and I think Amarillo. Awesome on the nose. (Smell - 4.50)
Taste followed the nose, although not quite as good. Got tropical, mango, red grapefruit, Galaxy, onions, vegetables, juicy orange, nectarine, peach, Citra and earthy, bitter grapefruit rind. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter, earthy finish. (Feel - 3.88)
This was a good IPA, but I may have slightly overrated it. It wasn’t near perfect with the sight and nose much better than the taste/feel. Will still enjoy the rest of this growler though. (Overall - 4.00)

Very dry and bitter. Way too clear for me. Full on hop extracts. Perfume and medicinal. Bitter freaks enjoy!

Growler from bytemesis. Clear orange amber color, huge cloud of head on top and tons of lacing. Piney and citrus nose. Spicy malt body, a little different than I’ve had with other IPA. Bitter. Conflicted about this one.

Growler with hella thanks to Cocoapuph! Pours crystal clear orange with a medium creamy off-white head that dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, dank, pine resin. Flavor is about the same, just a bit of sweetness, medium bitterness. Finish is lingering bitterness, a bit harsh. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. A great IPA, a bit diminished by the harsh finish. Drinks really nice for 6% ekoerper (599) - Iowa, USA - APR 25, 2013
Tap at Alpine:
Aroma: ripe citrus fruits, somewhat dank, floral hops, pine resin, some toast and a touch of caramel.
Appearance: light copper pour, white head with average retention and lacing.
Taste: grapefruit, orange, moderately high bitterness, sticky pine sap, caramel and some residual sweetness. Alcohol is well hidden, hop-forward but some malt character balances nicely, finish is on the bitter side.
Palate: medium body and carbonation.
Overall: a nice IPA, I would say that I like some of the other Alpine hop-forward offerings better, but this is very solid.
