nice golden color with a sticky head. Smells citrus but very mellow clean aroma. You can really taste the balance in the malts and the different combination of hops. Very good. Slipstream (2612) - USA - JUL 3, 2013
Sampled at Denise’s party. Lots of fresh pine in this nicely balanced big ipa - smooth, floral, really good! callmemickey (4542) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 15, 2013
Golden-orange body, medium white head, spotty lacing. Citrus, grapefruit, resin, some vegetal/herbal notes distract. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, fairly sticky with assertive bitterness. A bit rough and unpolished. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - JUN 14, 2013

Bomber gifted by Marcus! Thanks!! Pours hazy dark gold with a slight white head. Aroma is heavily resin with some citrus/floral. Full bodied. Flavor is extremely hoppy. Fruit is strongly present, but resin/citrus/floral are contributing to a hop burn in the mouth. Interesting that the malt backbone is present, but hardly obtrusive. This ale is quite different in taste from the NW ones, but it’s right in there with hop. Finishes unharshly bitter as heck.

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours cloudy golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of citrusy and floral hops, plus light fruit, and some pale, caramel, and cereal malts. Flavor the same with a nice hop profile. Average texture. A good double IPA. mcberko (17178) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 5, 2013
22 oz. bottle, sent from Neillago (thanks a lot man), pours a hazy golden orange with a small off-white head. Nose brings out loads of tropical fruits (mangos, peaches, pineapples), piney and resinous hops, and some grapefruit - extremely aromatic and inviting. Flavour is extremely potent, with loads of grapefruit, peaches and pineapple, truckloads of piney and resinous hops, and just enough caramel biscuity malt to back. Extremely pungent with the hops and tropical fruits, leaving a bitter grapefruity finish. With the seven hops and seven malts, you might think this would be a little muddled, but they manage to make it work. Very hop-forward, with a strong malt backbone and very grapefruit-heavy bitter finish. Not in the league of Pure Hoppiness or Exponential Hoppiness, but an excellent IIPA nonetheless. reggiedunlop (3718) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 5, 2013
Pours an orange/honey color with a medium white head. aroma has notes of citrus, grapefruity...resinous. flavor is resinous...piney with citrus/grapefruit accents...earthy. mouthfeel is light/medium and oily with a resinous/piney dry finish. bytemesis (8236) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Huge thanks to Bird_Machine for this one! Bottle. Pours hazy butterscotch with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma is Alpine, but a bit subdued. Grapefruit, mango, passionfruit. Flavor is the same, lightly sweet, light bitter. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Nice beer, but not up the the best that Alpine brings to the table. barn0216 (545) - California, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Bottle shared with bytemesis. Orange color, dusting of foam on top, some lacing. Passionfruit aroma, flowery. Bitter but not super bitter, passionfruit, orange, mango.
