...is a golden colored, full bodied example of this popular beer. A very slight maltiness is balanced with a generous dose of noble hops, which gives this beer a wonderful hoppy aroma without making it too bitter. Extremely süffig (quaffable).

Golden. Crips with a nice light toasty dough backbone. Zesty hop profile. Easy going and refreshing while retaining a medium body. Good.

Draft pour at YardHouse. 32 oz of this one, because I’m tired of looking at my phone, and would rather watch my football team struggle against the winless Browns. 32 oz isn’t enough, but its the largest size they can do. Golden pour, high Carb, with a ton of foam lasting head. Mild straw aroma with some hop quality. Cool straw flavor. Simple to drink. Pairs nicely with any sports. I like it.

14 ounce pour at the SeaTac airport. Clear golden with an occasional bubble rising. Just a little off white foam. Grain, corn, and honey aroma. They flavor is that with some noble hop sulfur. Gentle fruit and flowers. A little melon peel is nice and maybe some local hops made their way in here. Very easy drinking and not really flavorful, even for a Pils. Pleasant.

On tap at Alpine, pours a clear golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out grassy notes and clean biscuity malt. Flavour is quite restrained, with light grassiness and biscuity malt. Could use a bit more punch and crispness, but it’s alright. Decent.

On tap at Seattle Taproom. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges slowly and laces. Aroma has a combination of light grass and straw with some light bread backing. Flavor has a nice grass note supported by crisp grains and straw.

Draft at Seattle Taproom at SeaTac airport. Didn’t expect to find something that would have a first rating here, so that’s cool. Slightly heavy-opaque yellow gold with creamy, lacing white head. Sweet crisp malt aroma, touch of vague fruit. Sharp bittering body, not so clean finish. Cool fruit, a little macro in that regard. Not bad.

16oz draft at Seattle Taproom at Seatac. Clear golden color. Head leaves lots of lacing. Head is bubbly rather than foamy, thus I’m surprised about the lacing. Cold beer hides the flaws. But even through the freeze I pick out unfortunate diacetyl. Also overly grassy hops. Flavor is strong in bitterness and grassy hops with sweet diacetyl. Some skunky hops at the back end as well. I don’t know this Alpine but I was very disappointed.

Deep gold pour with fluffy white head and lace. Aroma is light malt with a touch of floral hops. flavor is light sweet malt with a flat papery bitter that isn’t oxidation. Light bodied with good carbonation that thins at the end. ok beer that left me wanting something more.

Tap at the Seattle Taproom at Seatac.

Pours bright gold with very little head. Nose is big on bread dough, a bit of grassy hops. Flavor, too, is bready. A bit of hop presence later, again grassy, kind of an old-school American pils (read: not particualrly good), hint of candy sweetness. This is perfectly drinkable and without glaring flaws, but it is also rather unimpressive.

A little fruity, a little bitter. Not boring but not complex. It develops from the nose to the tongue and down the throat - a smell of soapy citrus, a start of bitter orange-y brightness, and a bitter finish with a hint of laundry-soap florals (but not in a terribly unpleasant way)
