Never again! Test vom 27.8.2010 Noten: 9,8,6,6,9,7 - 7,15

Draft. Poured into a ceramic mug with a tan head. Light roasted malts, toasted bread, light floral notes, and a long toasted malty finish. Good stuff.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2012 Mainly coffee with malty aroma. Tast is darkness, coffee, roasty malt, light tobacco and notes of fruit. No difference or complexicity in the taste - just dark malt and coffee. Not a heavy body, actually pretty smooth. Decent beer.

Bottle MHD 10.12. Nose a little weird, the best I can do there is a dusty mocha. Watery body with heavy milk chocolate (rather, HOT chocolate), light roast, light fruit. Dark brown body.

50cl bottle from Bierzwerg. BBE 06/2012. Poured dark brown with a tan head, lacing. Aroma has roastedness, light sweetness and some chocolaty notes. Flavor very similar, great roasty and chocolate nuances. Medium bodied. Good dunkel, smooth, slightly dry finish.

The colour is very dark near to black with a red glimmer. The first taste is toasty-sweet in the aftertaste that flavour becomes more.

July 2010: Brown 500ml bottle poured into a Veltins Pilsner glass and a Forbidden Fruit chalice. The beer looked good in both glasses each showing off its good deep dark brown colour and lovely cream coloured head. The aroma and taste was of roasted/toasted malts, almost burnt in the taste, with dark chocolate and rich coffee flavours trying to get past the burnt hints. Fairly full in body and flavour, tastey, I am begining to warm towards this style more and more.
