Bottle on a train during Jolly to Bamberg 2014. Really dark amber/brown beer with a rich lasting beige head. Malty caramel aroma, biscuits, roasted, chocolate, vanilla notes. Malty roasted flavor, caramel, fruity, hay, bready, some licorice.

On tap at the brewery. Very dark brown almost black beer lasting tan head. Some chocolate. I love having these beers fresh. So much better fuller. More flavour. Some hop on the finish. Never taken this brewery seriously before but the dunkel and zwickel are good. Hoppy finish. Good beer

0.5l bottle. Almost black dark ruby body, light-brown head. Aroma of caramel with some dark fruits with hints of chocolate. The taste is also dark fruity, chocolaty and also has some creamy coffee notes. The mouthfeel is creamy. I’m not sure if it’s a dunkel, a porter or a stout, but it tastes good.

Nicely dark brown colour. Small light brown head. Good bready and roasted aroma.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, darker than exspected, almost black. Starts intense malty, modest dry, hints of liquorice. Surprisingly stouty. Finish well balanced, a bit milder, but still intense malty. Nice beer!

RexTalionis (3825) - FINLAND - OCT 12, 2012
Draught at Gallow’s Bird, Espoo. Pours dark brown in color with a thick creamy slightly tan head. Light roasted malts and coffee in aroma. Sophisticated. Flavour slightly roasted malts and coffee. Quite mild to drink as well as in aftertaste. Dark chocolate also in finish. Felt a bit thin.

Never again! Test vom 27.8.2010 Noten: 9,8,6,6,9,7 - 7,15

Draft. Poured into a ceramic mug with a tan head. Light roasted malts, toasted bread, light floral notes, and a long toasted malty finish. Good stuff.

spoonie (20) - Glostrup, DENMARK - AUG 31, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 1, 2012 Mainly coffee with malty aroma. Tast is darkness, coffee, roasty malt, light tobacco and notes of fruit. No difference or complexicity in the taste - just dark malt and coffee. Not a heavy body, actually pretty smooth. Decent beer.

3.3
Camons (13497) - Hasselager, DENMARK - AUG 20, 2012
Bottle @ home. Pours dark brown with a creamy light tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, light smoke, chocolate. Flavor of malt, dark chocolate, dark fruits. Medium body, soft carbonation. 200812
