Cooked vegetables on the nose, sweet. The flavor is vegetable, caramel, light chocolate. The finish is sweet, light spicy hops. Medium, slightly thick body. Not bad.

Bottle best by July 2015. Lightly hazed honey gold with a short white head. Grain husks, potato starch, metal and dead yeast in the nose with touches of faint apricot jam. Half litre bottle, poured into handled Alt Bamberg handed mug. A: Pale amber, hazy, medium head, moderate retention, plus a few floaters. S: Cork with real farmyard style aroma, lots of hay. T: Very bready, notes of wheat and slightly sour fruits. M: Minimal carbonation, smooth, slightly thick texture. O: Nothing overly memorable but a fairly solid offering.
