Medium sweet aroma. Alcohol and caramel. Cloudy, amber color with a thick, off-white head that disappears quite quickly. Light but long lasting sweet taste. Hints of good cheese, plenty of carbonation. Thin and dryish texture. Medium body. Good beer for mild food and hot, summer days.

blipp (9598) - La Mesa, California, USA - SEP 4, 2012
Draft. Poured into a ceramic mug with an off white head. Malty, light toasted bread, light earthy notes, and a clean malty finish. Very good.

Bottle shared by Lyn Friday night, thanks for the opportunity! Deep golden color with a frothy white head. Rich malty aroma and flavor with plenty of bready pils and caramelized malt sugars present. Very tasty.

harrisoni (19192) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2014
On tap at the brewery. Hazy orange gold. Good malty zwickel. Does what it needs to some malt some hop interesting enough and full enough to bring you back and with a surprising bitterness on the finish. I liked it

Russo (2011) - Hemhofen, GERMANY - AUG 24, 2014

Jonb5 (562) - Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 30, 2014
Half litre bottle, poured into handled Alt Bamberg handed mug. A: Pale amber, hazy, medium head, moderate retention, plus a few floaters. S: Cork with real farmyard style aroma, lots of hay. T: Very bready, notes of wheat and slightly sour fruits. M: Minimal carbonation, smooth, slightly thick texture. O: Nothing overly memorable but a fairly solid offering.

djoeye (5090) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 30, 2015
Look; huge off white head (sehr schöne Schaumkrone) and dark golden near clear body. Aroma; wort, spices, caramel malts, apples. Taste; caramel, malts, wort, sweet grains, appleish hops. Finishes to the malty side. Feels easy, soft carbonated, average to light body. Overall completely uncomplicated. [50cl brown bottle 4.8%abv BB20-04-2016 [email protected]]
