UPDATED: JAN 27, 2017 Redish orange with a tan head. Smells amazing... earthy, floral, sweet biscuit malt, some tropics and peaches? Taste follows with a bit of spice, very enjoyable!

On tap at the brewery, Deep reddy / brown coloured pour with a lasting cream coloured pour. Aroma is red berry, leather, some tobacco, biscuity, brown malts. Flavour is composed of wood, spicy pine needle, red berry, little tobacco. Palate is medum bodied, little sticky resin, moderate carbonation. Solid.

On tap at Harry’s Hofbrau. Aroma of moderate muddled citrus. Clear amber with bright white head that lingers as a slight pillow and leaves webbing down the glass. Taste is citrus, resin and pine in front half following thru to a strong bitter finish. Moderate biscuit in the latter half.

From a tap at Ale Arsenal.2nd batch. The pour is a medium bodied clear red with a thin white lace. A great blend of malt and hop flavor with a citrus aftertaste.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a deep golden orange color with an off white head. The aroma has some super fruity hops with tropical notes, orange, apricot and pineapple with a hint of brown sugar. The flavor is full bodied and piney with lots of fruity hop flavors, citrus and tropical with the typical Altamont velvety yeast character. A really nice hoppy red.

On tap @ Hopyard Pleasanton. Hazed amber pour with an off-white head. Really strong grapefruit, orange oil, and zest aromas. Nice toasted malt, too. A hint of lemon. Flavor is quite citrusy with mild bitterness and sweetness. Toast, bread, and some light caramel. Plenty of grapefruit, orange, and lemon. A touch tropical on the finish. Quite enjoyable.
