Crowler from brokensail. Nose is onion and light citrus. Fairly clear orange to copper. Small white head. Taste is fairly hopnforward. Moderate bitterness. Moderate caramel malt backbone but never too seeet. Overall a great balance of malt and hops but I think I’m not a fan of this new weird hop variety

Tap. Pours clear golden, large off white head, creamy, nice lacing. Aroma is light, a bit potty, guava, orange zest, more pot. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, potty and resinous. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel.

On tap. Pours a glowing orange, very little head. Nose is tropical fruit, mango, some orange. Taste follows through, on the sweet side for an IIPA, noticeable booze, nice citrus hop bitterness. Good, not great.

On tap @ Altamont. Hazed orange color with a white head. Intense grapefruit and lemon rind aroma. Juicy orange as well. Some pineapple, mango, and peach sweetness with a rather pungent pine quality. Lots of bitterness to the finish. Sharp, zesty, oily citrus. Maybe a touch of lime on the finish.

Tap at Harry’s as part of SF beer week. Hazy orange with full white head that lingers long. Citrusy throughout with moderate pine and cracker malt.

Pours bright orange with big white head and nice lacing. In a wine glass at Mikkeller’s. Robust aroma of citrus, melon, and pine...a lot of pine. Taste is the same with a nice bitter kick at the end and grapefruit that lingers. Nice!

On tap at Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours Clear copper with a thick off-white head and a floral citrus aroma. There is a hearty pale malt flavor with lots of citrus and a dry earthy finish.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours lite amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is very pine. Med body or better. Flavor is surprisingly malty with pine, and maybe citrus, hop. Mild hop burn. And it produces an illusion of mixed fresh, light fruits in the finish. Excellent.

Another good one from Altamont. Pretty smooth and refreshing. Be careful with this one.
