Tap. Pours opaque black, large beige head, dispatch slowly, good lacing. Huge peanut butter nose, cocoa, roast. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, huge Peanut Butter. Medium body. bhensonb (16146) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 23, 2017
Tap at Cap Hop. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is pretty darn peanut butter. Med + body. Flavor is peanut butter quickly followed by some chocolate which morphs into dark malt. I guess it is smooth. But I’m thinking this is all about peanut butter. vtafro (7453) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - APR 24, 2017
Draft. During my bachelor party long weekend in the san francisco area, Apotos St. BBQ. Dark pour with lighter head. Was expecting something like Sweet Baby Jesus, but this is lacking body, chocolate and peanut butter flavors, is mild dark malt, light chocolate and perhaps a hint of peanuts. At RateBeer Best 2017. Comes dark brown with an average tan head. Aroma of chocolate and peanuts. Taste is chocolate, peanut butter, and roasted malt. Decent. Homer321 (5255) - Melboring, Florida, USA - FEB 4, 2017
Crowler thanks to brokensail. Nose is huge peanut butter. Light toast and caramel. Taste is initially quite bitter and almost husky harsh. Light mouthfeel. Peanuts butter doesn’t come through in the flavor and just has an artificial extract tatse and feel to it. Decent. brokensail (16696) - Dublin, California, USA - JAN 17, 2016
UPDATED: JAN 18, 2017 On tap @ Altamont. Very dark brown in color with some tan foam. Definite peanut character. A little creaminess, some dark fruits, roast, and lots of toasty malts. A good bit of sweetness to the flavor and tons of peanut butter. Slight cream, some licorice, and butter roasted malt. Maybe a touch of coffee. Pretty nice and actually is nutty/has some peanut butter flavor, unlike a lot of "peanut butter beers".
