0.5L bottle. Pours a "Pale-Pear-Yellow" with solid white head that dissipates quickly but leaves good lacing. Moderate carbonation brings a bitter scent to the top of the glass - I can’t smell herbs. The taste is bitter/hops/grass with nothing added beyond. There seems to be slight sweet herbs lingering in the aftertaste, but not enough to place the flavors – perhaps this is what fresh cut grass tastes like...

Bottle. Pours your typical yellow straw lager color, with a frothy white head, that leaves some pretty good lacing. Aroma is of grains, biscuity malts and grassy hops. Flavor is quite bitter for a lager. I get grassy hops, a herbal note, grains and biscuity malts. The body is light and dry. Overall a solid lager.

Medium white coarseish head. Pale yellow body with carbonation. Earthy grassy perfumy aroma with carbonation. Dry-sweetish earthy grassy taste with minty peas notes. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Light body. Delicate, harmonic. Dry earthy oily sugary spicy aftertaste is quite strong. Certainly has character, but also easy to drink. Very nice. (0.5l bottle from Rewe City, Bremen.)

Appearance: Swing-top. Pale golden yellow. Lots of nice, white head. Aroma: Hops and citrus fruit. Taste: Wow, lots of hops. Some sweet malt. Info: 500ml bottle, 27/5-2010

Swing-top bottle. Sweet barley malt and sour milk aroma. Clear pale yellow color with moderate head. Mildly sweet barley malt and moderately bitter hay hops flavor - first couple of sips were pretty bad but actually grew on me. Decent - nothing great though.

Bügelverschlußflasche: pale golden to golden, small firm creamy white layer; dry papery-grassy nose with a shy malty background; creamy MF, dry bitter flavour, light bodied; vegetables in the dry bitter-malty finish. Ooops, nice bottle, nasty beer........

Refreshing lager. Good flavor with a mild hop bite. Crisp beer. Enjoyable. Great lacing.

Izio (86) - GERMANY - OCT 5, 2009
Pale yellow, white medium lasting head, low carbonation. Aroma / Flavor: malt, moderately hoppy, floral, sweet. Regular beer, nothing special. 0.5 L bottle @ supermarkt in Berlin

KimJohansen (10498) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - AUG 31, 2009
Clear golden with a large white head. Aroma had malty, breadish and hoppy notes. Flavour was fairly malty with caramel, grassy hops and hints of herbs. Finished dry and quite bitter.
