Maris (1409) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - APR 18, 2011
From a 500ml bottle on 18/4/2011. Pours a clear straw colour with a bit of a head. Has a moderate aroma of sweet malt, grains and a touch of apple. Taste wise, it’s a fairly stock standard euro lager, dominated by Euro malt with a slightly lemony hop finish. A serviceable lager, though entirely unremarkable (other than the rather nice bottle).

Draft at Epcot Food and wine fest October 2010. Poured gold with white head, nose of pale malt, mild hops, and some grainy and caro syrupy hops in the flavor. Light palate heft.

Bottle. Clear pale gold with good white head. Hoppy aroma with a hint of bread. Medium body with good smooth carbonation giving nice mouthfeel. Pleasant refreshing hoppy foretaste with disappointingflat and metallic finish. Overall OK but not great.

The beer pours a light hazy golden colour with a froth of withish foam. The example I had sported a light thin body with average carbonation that I expect in a lager with little in the way of hop flavour or aroma, the drink finishes slightly dry and quick.

Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - FEB 17, 2011
Not a massive beer flavorwise, a little subtle. The hops here are definitely herbs, spices - pencil shavings and flowers in the aroma! The flavor is moderately bitter and moderately sweet (bread). Somewhat acidic. Head lingers a while. Very clear gold, rich in color, not super light. Sooo easy to drink. Very fresh (best before July 2011). I thought it was a pilsner!

The beer itself does not look particularly good. Just like a normal Pils. Pale Yellow with flat, fine head. The beer smells almost only hops. Starts malty and spicy, grassy hop flavors come through. The finish is spicy and good floral herbs. Dry, bitter finish

500ml swing top bottle from Dan Murphy’s. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma and taste is mainly grainy sweet malts with a mild earthy dry hop bitterness. Carbonation is low for the style. Medium body with an oily texture. Nil remarkable going on here.

500ml bottle. Clear and golden bright colour with a fluffy white head. Moderate aroma, mostly malt and grain, raw. Flavour is okay without being great. Nice German lager for a warm afternoon.

0,5 l fliptop bottle as a gift.
Pale golden beer with a nice, stable and foamy-pillowy white head. Aroma of sourish yeast, herbal hops, caramel. Medium bodied, bready malt and some caramel tastes, yeast and herbal hops. Correct lager, easy drinkable, but nothing exciting. I could slip it in big quantities;-)
