Beugelfles 0,5 l. Gezien de andere testers vond ik het tegenvallen.......... Quack-Duck (9490) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 8, 2008
While shopping today I stumbled across this year’s first winter beer. It is the 8th of October, we have 22°C outside and the sun is shining - Good heavens, is it already winter? Anyway, the beer looks god, dark brown colour with a mlarge and creamy beige head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, pleasantly malty with lots of flavours going on: roasted malt, caramel and dried fruit. Balanced of with a decent amount of aromatic and bitter hops. Much better than expected, I actually liked this, although it is too early in the year. Hopefully there won’t be any Easter specials in December... SHIG (4964) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - JUN 29, 2008
Bottle Swing-top: Poured a dark black brown with a reddish haze, the head is beige color. The aroma is a sweet malt but very light. Taste is burnt malt very overwhelming, the tongue tingles a bit. kappldav123 (6131) - GERMANY - JUN 3, 2008
The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Tastes strong and malty, a little bit too constant, finish somehow boring. An average beer! oldrtybastrd (5003) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 11, 2008
Pours a deep dark brown. Aromas of roasted malts, smoke, and hints of fruit. Flavors of the roasted malts, some fruit, with a coffee aftertaste.

Bottle from Munich Airport.
Lovely 50 cl swingtop bottle.
Nutty, malty crisp, easy drinking. Grains/cereals. It is ultimately too short and too sweet. hayduke (5619) - Eureka, California, USA - FEB 15, 2008
From the swing top bottle this poured a nice rich amber-brown with a fat tan head and very rich lacing. Nose of fruits and roasted malts. Moderate mouthfeel. Flavors of malts and hops, with some sweetness. Slightly bitter finish. mcbackus (758) - Merritt Island, Florida, USA - JAN 25, 2008
bottle: pours a beautiful dark brown with windows of crimson when held to the light, big off white head that is slightly creamy. aroma is mice real rich wheat malt, spices, sugary sweet malts, also a great fruit plum darte. flavour is good not as strong as i expected, but it is rich with fruit again date maybe fig, spices and a good amount of wheat malt inthe finish tha is very dry and almost peppery also some good dark sugar. bb (9697) - Alamo, California, USA - JAN 17, 2008
Bottle. Dark ruby brown beer with a nice tan head. Roasty aroma with dark fruits and caramel. Caramel flavor with light roast and a bit of fruitiness. Medium body. Lingering caramel, dark malt, and fruit. BeerBiker (1415) - Odense, DENMARK - JAN 4, 2008
[Bottle from svoger.] Nice dunkel over average with fullbodied notes compared to other mainstream dunkels. A little bit more alcohol and complexity, it would have been great!
